A gift and a Poem from my friend Rass
Two angels through the fog, it seems
Floating down on golden wings
If one stumbles the other never fails
To sit and wait for the blood to pale
Two women giggling over past events
Memorizing and remembering for future presents
Though both are adults one can clearly see
A forgotten daughter in her family tree
Two screaming children goofing around
Stomping their feet on the muddy ground
Pure and innocent, forever young
Impatiently waiting to have some fun
The angels, women and children are we
And that's the way it'll always be
So don't you fret or worry I'll turn away
I'm your friend here, and here I'll stay
-Even past the very day
--When you happen to turn away
~Promises are just like oaths
This I promise…And no, you're not old! ~
