How?
By doing stuff in this thread!
The top 2 users to rack up the most points by Saturday, the 30th(@ 8pm PST), get the items (Coco Catfish to 1st and Mimi Kitty to 2nd).
Everyone else that participates gets 100 gold towards a cat item of their choice for every point that they earn up to 150 points.


Ways to win points:
1. Roll 3 10-sided dice (maximum of 2 times per day), to try to get:
-Below 10 or above 20 (10 & 20 count) for 2 points
-Above 25 or below 6 (25 & 6 count) for 4 points
-Numbers in sequential order (i.e. 1,2,3 or even 4,2,3) for 5 points
-All the same number (i.e. 1,1,1) for 7 points
-If your roll meets more than one qualification, only the highest point score will be added
2. Generate a random number between 1-10 (maximum of 2 times per week, week starts over Sunday):
-Whatever number you get is your points
3. Bump/post 5 times a day (Number then):
-Earn 1 point total
-Weekends are 2 points total!
4. Be the first to quote YDA's post if I put up an image of a Gaia cat item (like this )
and generate a number between 0-2:
-Whatever number you get is your points
-Yes, you can earn 0 points (oh noes!)

My catch about reading the first page.

As long as one meets the requirements and puts in an app, they get gold, no bumping or chatting needed.
A bump or two or a chat during the one-day waiting period can get them a bit extra gold if they want.
Stay longer, and they can get to play in contests for more stuff.

It is a 'more gold for more activity', but I don't not give someone something because they don't want to/can't hang out. So the minimal work they have to do to "earn" a donation that is to read my rules. 3nodding

Sherlock Holmes! I wanna see!

Oh man, I liked it. London didn't really look like London (his house wasn't where it should be on Baker Street - I know this 'cause it's the first thing you see when you get out of the Baker Street Underground Station and it's like 20 feet away from Regent's Park and there was no park there), and there were some liberties taken with the costuming, but whatevs. The best parts?

1. Victorian England
2. Victorian costume (though liberties were taken with the corsets and bustles. The women definitely had a better range of movement than they did back in the day.)
3. A tiny bit of steampunk
4. some occult stuff, for those who are into that (it's the "black magic" of pop culture - that silly Satanic stuff that doesn't really exist)
5. a kick-butt soundtrack.

I'm going to elaborate a bit more on the soundtrack. It was awesome! There was lots of violin (there was one passage that was sooo Toinore), and dulcimer. Because of that it had a very central European flare, since the style of music was somewhat similar to that of the Romani (gypsy's) of that region in terms of the harmonics that were used. Even though that sounds odd, it totally fit with the movie, don't ask me why, but it totally grabbed me from the first chord when the movie started. There was also more traditional music to the UK. One such song that was in the movie was an Irish tune called "The Rocky Road to Dublin". It night not be familiar to you, but I'm familiar with that song because a lot of Irish-Newfoundland bands play it.

And with the way it ends, there's potential for a sequel.

*looks up some info on the soundtrack* OMG Hans Zimmer did the score! No wonder it's good! 8D (Think of the Harry Potter soundtracks and PotC: Dead Man's Chest and At World's End.)
