This is my third, yes third, gift giving thread. My first was a major success and I met a lot of wonderful people there! <3
My second, well that wasn't but hey, easy come, easy go! :3

I'm not going to type much, as there's lots of posts, and I'd really like you to read everything. It'll not only help you, but save us time explaining things when there already answered in the thread!

But I will say this now.
This is a gift giving thread NOT a charity. DO NOT ask for things here.
People will decide if and what to give you!

Please read ALL of these and follow them. Failure to do so will result in yourself being banned.... Mwahahaha! :3
Also, I reserved the right to add and change rules if I see fit.

1. Follow the TOS, it's simple and covers everything.
2. DO NOT ask for things, this is a gift giving thread, NOT a charity!
3. A follow on from above, DO NOT advertise your quests in here. You can have links in your siggy, or post format, I'll even link you if you ask. But please do not keep posting you quest over and over!
4. Listen to myself and the staff, what we say goes!
5. Don't keep saying how many gifts you've given and received, most of the time people lie about it and also, it's not quantity that counts!
6. AFTER you've received a gift, say THANK YOU. If it's anon, just post saying thanks for the _______. Be polite people!
7. Post the words 'The kiwi is also a bird don't ya know!' in your first post so I know you've read these! Oh, and don't say you 'forgot', I don't believe that for a second!
8. No huge quote stacks... They stretch the pages too much! </3
9. Please don't bump if there's people in the thread talking. Only bump if it's quiet! :3

I'll tell you a bit about my Gaia life here instead.
I joint back in February '08, my hasn't time gone fast! And I can usually be found in the exchange somewhere, the art or avatar forums or in the CB...
I come on practically everyday, at least to check my messages. Although I did go through a phase where I didn't come on for months... Dunno why...
My avatar may look expensive, and I may be wearing items that cost over 1mil, but that doesn't mean I'm bursting at the seams with gold, ok! XD

Your probably wondering what I'm going to put here, aren't you?
I mean why have a gifting post when the word 'gifting' pretty much gives it away? Well here I wish to keep a record of things that have been gifted!

So, if you've sent, or received a trade, please send me screen shot of the finalized trade so I can link it here.
Or if you've sent a gift, or received one, send me a screen shot of you sending or opening that gift.

I would very much appreciated it! :3
Plus, it's a nice little way of keeping track how much of a help and joy we've been to others! X3

From time to time, if I have spare gold or I'm just feeling like giving stuff away, I go through phases of that, then I'll start a contest. A fun way of earning a prize!
Also, if you wish to run your own contest, then PM me the details, (contest name, prize, info, running dates), and I'll be happy to add it!
But you must remember, once it's added you cannot ask for it to be taken off, and you MUST give the prize. Otherwise, you will be banned!

On a side note;;
Winners of contests should not be seen as different to others. The contests are open to everyone and it is choice weather to participate.
Winners have the same 'receiving' rights as those who aren't.

Basically, events are the same as contests, but run on special occasions, eg. Christmas.
These are only run by thread staff, unlike contests. (Confused about that bit? Well go read the contests post above... Though you should of already... >w>).

Also, the prize might be bigger, or they may be a couple of them. As thread staff can each add to the prize if they like.
Events will probably run for longer periods of time than contests, and freebies could be given to everyone! <3

Not all occasions will have events. It depends on how rich we are and what's going on in the real world! >:3
