I was used to Resident Evil-kind of scary, then I learned about games like Silent Hill and Fatal Frame

I actually don't find Silent Hill 2 to be scary in the least.

SH3 and SH4 are whole 'nother ********' story, though.

Well, I'm scared of basically everything, so every Silent Hill is terrifying to me. But a different kind of scary o.o
They, besides making me hide behind my sofa and sleep with the lights on, depress me somehow. These games can change my mood, so if I play this when I'm happy I'll end up sad when I finish playing. I think that's why I've never been too far in any of them xD
(Since I'm a nerd, though, I read everything I possibly could about their stories)
