I'll just have to see how it goes. It would be veggies I'd be looking for, got a freezer full of meat and stuff, but running out of fresh veggies. crying

Guess I'll have to see when the whole ban on everything lifted, then I could see about getting some curtains. I have been online shopping but anything from amazon isn't expected till middle of may. gonk

Yeah, I'm venturing out too when I run out of fresh produce, just taking full precautions.

If the worse is just hitting or just past now, in 2 weeks, the threat will be far less throughout the region, including places from where vacationers come from. This lessens the risk for you too.

It may be far longer though for supply lines to reestablish. One idea is to buy fabric from a local fabric store or an online fabric site then have a local cleaners or seamstress sew the curtains for you. A plus is you end up with much nicer ones too. Hmmm...I should do the same; I have curtains that need replacing and after my h, who does the sewing decided instead to buy ugly ill fitting ones for our bathroom, I should use a local seemstress myself and just find some good fabric to use.

The premiere of our province has extended the state of emergency till April 23rd, so I figure I'll still have a lot of time on my hands.

Here's to hoping by May, we'll be moving into a more normal state of living.

That is something to consider, I'm not sure if I'll do that, not sure of we have something like that here. I know there's a lady who makes fleece sheet sets.

Sorry your h, got you ugly curtains, if they sew, why didn't they just make them instead?

Only til then? Here it's May and in the rest of the country it could go until late May or early June. But my sense is the worst is over so I won't have to feel like I'm risking my life just to get food!

Things will never fully return to what they were preCovid19. The economic fallout alone will insure it.

He was supposed to make them and we even got the fabric but he didn't feel like it so he did that instead. He has no sense of style or color so.... I'll remedy the problem once mitigation is a thing of the past.

They declare it for two weeks, and then everytime we get close to the end, they declare for another week. So who knows

Eventually social isolation and ugly curtains will end....it'll be curtains for them all, mwahahaha! twisted

That sounds like hurricane season here. I try to be prepared in case we have to leave. I have suitcases and dufflebags ready to be packed.

I like keeping a small stockpile of stuff, would be more, but I live in a shoebox apartment, just in case. Which turned out to be a good thing. sweatdrop

I stockpile when I can. Having kids isn't cheap and it's better to be prepared then suddenly being out of something. I actually got lucky with my son's dental hygiene items. The mouthwash and toothpaste were on clearance so he is good for a couple of months. My baby girl is stocked up on wipes and diapers now though more wipes would be good.

Do you have any shelves or something that could provide more storage space without taking up too much room?

That's awesome! Definitely have to take advantage of sales and such.

I haven't really left my apartment much, I went to the store across the street once and I've like taken out the garbage but that's it. I should go for a walk or something one of these days.

My cat seems to be over me being home. whee She is snuggly but also wants her space.

I have many shows I love but I there's a handful I get excited to see coming back.

I am trying to be, if I keep busy enough, I feel like I'm not wasting away at home.

Yesterday I super cleaned the apartment and I plan to do a lot of organizing today. lol

Haha today I'm gonna go back to the store for the first time in like ... 2-3 weeks. Need more things to cook.

Hahaha I've seen vids on social media that was like "I don't think my cat likes me being home this much" lol.

I don't have anymore shows like that. All the goods one got bad or ended :') I just finished s3 of Handmaid's Tale so now I gotta find what to watch next heh. Maybe watch some movies.

So I decided to check out the Easter event here ... man things have really changed lol. Finished the whole event in 20 min. Also couldn't find a single "here's all the items in the event" thread. There used to always be a user-made event guide! crying The items turned out to be pretty ugly imo and half them were animal items. Sigh.

My Dad is going out of town to get groceries (most people in our town do normally anyway) and so Mum asked if I needed anything! I was like SCORE, so I gave her a list.

It's so true. I made my cat a nest in the window and she spends most of her time there during the day. lol

Online shopping is fun, but then you have to wait! The worst! lol Might have to check out Chapters for some books!

Yeah they just re-used an old event set up. But I think they went for simple since the disaster of the Valentines Event and hopefully this means they are focusing on other site improvements or converting from Flash? Right? I hope! XD

That's totally understandable. It amazes me how much rent is these days. I know here most places want you to make 3 times the rent in a month. Sometimes I watch that show about the little houses and I think I want one of those. But then I remember I have kids and I hoard sometimes.

You'd think, but instead of doing that, I've been doing a ton of cooking and stocking our garage freezer. I need to get to cleaning.
