I was staring at the sun too long according to teh retina person.
So don't stare at the sun.

Maybe it was band practices? You just happened to glance at the sun's reflection in a bass bell for too long mahbeh? But did your retina specialist say anything about how they can fix or remedy the detachment?

I don't stare at the sun.
I was being sarcastic.
I always wear sunglasses.

He said no fluid behind retina now but there's something not right in the area right straight back in my left eye.
To the side of the optical nerve.

He explained that it looked like something he usually sees after someone stares into the sun for a long time.
Or a post viral thing where the immune system gets confused.

But I haven't been staring or sick.

So he wants me back in a month and gave me this grid thing to look at every morning to make sure my vision doesn't change.

As far as fixing it we don't know.
He said it's reversible on its own but even he said he doesn't really know what it is.

No, that appointment got moved to today.
So now I wait until July 17.

But he said I can fly, which was really all that I was worried about.
I've found that I really don't care as much as I should about certain things.
