There's this 'freshman' stigma at my school...all th eother grade levels bash them...call them names,talk rudely about them...I don't get it neutral

(Er, trying to catch up on what I missed, found this to reply to first.)

I remember my first day of living at college when I was a freshman, I was walking back up to the bookstore and some people were having a drinking party on their porch. This drunk girl leans over the edge of the banister and yells at me, 'Hey little freshman! Think you're gonna read all those books? HAHA!'

I was like '...'
