Most visually appealing piece of technology?

Computers in general tend to be big boxes. There's usually a distinct lack of really striking visuals. So, that spurs a question..

What do you think is the most visually appealing piece of technology?

Anything can qualify, as long as it's technology. Mp3 players, computers, weapons, cars, planes.. whatever.

This is also entirely subjective, so it's not of much use debating.. However, to make this an actual discussion, reasons should be used for likes/dislikes.

For me, it's a car (obviously).

The 2007 Aston martin DB9.



For me, it's the subtle curves, the sweeping lines. This thing looks like it's constantly going quickly. It doesn't look ungainly or awkward from any angle.

To me, that's the exact opposite of appealing.

Well a proper cabling job looks pretty nice. So much ordered flow of little blue things.

It takes a few days to get that in... I did it for a few months and my boss was obsessive about it. That wouldn't even be good enough, he wanted the bundles at the sides perfectly aligned straight down.

I think motor internals look awesome.

It's just crazy how much work it is to nicely and efficiently route everything... I guess I enjoy routing and layout because I know how much of a b***h it is.

More relatable to computers, I think my printer looks pretty good.

It's like a mystery box and things start sliding out of it. That's the key thing about it I suppose.

Aye. I've done server/rackmount cable routing before. It's a pain in the a**, but it's a hell of a lot nicer when it's done properly.

I have a Pixma, too. It's the MP450, though. They aren't bad looking little devices.
