Good, but tired. It's 9am but I'm still sleepy. I got lab in an hour too...being sleepy and inattentive is not a good thing when you're working with infectious microbes x3

I remember in Micro-Biology when my lab partner and I took swabs of all the snakes in the Animal Care unit. We grew some scary looking stuff on the agar. D:

Oh, we did swabs the first week. It's gross what grows on coins, braille, dry erasers, your mouth... x3

But. We work with strains of E. coli and salmonella (from chickens!) a lot soooo...yeah. Not deadly, but probably unpleasent if you caught anything from it x3 Still...to get it, I'd prolly have to ingest the culture, which I don't plan on doing. ALL THE SAME...

Haha, but it worked out well, didn't it? And what's an event without at least an auction or so? XD

We have some on agar plates, a set of slants we keep and some broths (oh man, all samples of Serratia marcescens are such a pretty shade of red~). I should be okay but I don't need to spill them everywhere either XD

But yeah. I mean, after seeing what grown on surfaces (and in dirt) you think to yourself... 'maybe I should wash my hands more. Like now. oh god microbes everywhere I can feel them ;~;'

XDD Same here, and it's nothing against wimmins! It's...largely because I fail at playing lady types x3 I have a few myself but. A majority of mine are male-types -nods-
