Owner's List Update!
Hello Soquili!
Thank you for your patience in waiting for us to roll out a new Owner's List. At long last - here it is!
Link! Big thanks to Kyribird for getting this up and going again!
This new version of the OL has a couple of new features, which are:
Mobile Friendly
The new format will hopefully provide a lot more flexibility than Google Sheets or other previously utilized/considered options. The mobile version of the site is searchable with filters like Owner and Soquili Name at the bottom, or the more general Search field at the top. Each entry can be expanded with the + sign on the left, and both the cert and uncert links are available on the go!
New Columns
This is a feature we are really excited about! The addition of a few more columns has added a lot more functionality to the OL and, we hope, adds a couple things that customers will really look forward to!
Base: The Base column will be used for one thing - to differentiate between "Soquili" and "Familiar"! That's right - familiars will be coming to the main OL! The plan is that this will be a lot more friendly for customers, especially those who are mostly mobile users, whose ability to use Google Sheets is limited. On the desktop version, you will be able to filter by "Soquili" or "Familiar" if you prefer to see only one or the other, using the search box at the bottom of the column to narrow your results.
Uncert: We will be adding one uncert per pet to the OL for easy access for those who need official links in a hurry! Users will be able to choose which uncert they would like to be linked on the list for each of their pets, with the limitation that they can only be "official" uncerts (e.g., the version of the pony that exists in the wild - no half-wingless soquili running around, okay?!).
ID: The ID for each pet is auto-generated with each entry. The ID will help us in identifying errors when they are reported!
Now, some of these features, like adding familiars to the list and adding uncert links, will take time! It will be a gradual process, probably over the course of the next year and beyond. We may also need to make some overarching changes to how we format new entries as they are added and adapt the existing ones to the new guidelines. This will, of course, also take a good deal of time.
The first step will be to overhaul the error reporting thread - I will be working on this in the next week or two so we can get things rolling! The plan is to lay out what to expect, when to take action, and provide updates using that thread. As always, if you have any questions about the OL or any entries, please contact me,
xo maho! PM is best, but I'm happy to answer Discord messages, too. Thanks for hanging in there and being so patient as we worked to get this back up!
Ta ta for now!
