The creatures begin to come closer you blink twice thinking it's a daydream.
They continuing coming closer the familiar animals become more detailed.
You start to pick out the different types of animals..foxes, dragons, gryphons, raptors, and hippocampus.... Welcome to Silver Lining.

• Do not steal the art. Stealing art is an infringement on copyright rights and this rule will be enforced. So save us and yourself the trouble by not taking the art and claiming it as your own or anyone else's besides the person who actually drew the art. Editting the art is also against the rules.
  
  
• Don't PM staff members! Unless it's a pet trade, info for a custom order, or if you were told to PM someone on the staff listing, please don't PM me for any other reason or you will be blacklisted. No one likes junk mail swarming their inboxes.
  
  
• Do not steal the concept. It's fairly obvious that idea stealing = plagiarizing = illegal! Silver Lining/Cloudlings are copyrighted to BMM/Nuxaz. She purchased the line-art. So make sure you come up with your own ideas and not steal them from others.
  
  
• No complaining. Or flaming, if you will. Saying mean and innopropriate things to other people in this thread will result in you being recognized as someone who's eligible to be placed onto the blacklist.
  
  
• No spamming. If you see your post, everyone else sees it. Don't type the same thing twice. If you need something and one of our staff members missed it, just quote yourself and ask if anyone has gotten to it.
  
  
• No lying. We are not in second grade anymore so don't think you can get away with lying. Your best bet is to revert away from doing it. (This includes: telling rumors about staff members, giving sob stories about your neighbor's dog, and lying about editting posts in flatsales; I repeat, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO EDIT YOUR POSTS IN FLATSALES!!)
  
  
• No self-advertising/promoting. Or don't advertise any other shop in this thread. You may advertise if you are or want to be an affiliate, though. Affiliates = Love ;D
  
  
• Send all trades to [Silver Lining ]. Unless specifically told to send trade to someone else. So then it can be sorted out to all the staff members from there. :3

A. At the moment we are only hiring guest colorists.

Q. Can I buy a Cloudling/Are there any available?
A. If there are none available in the sale post, then there are none.

Q. Is there a limit to how many Cloudlings we can own?
A. Nope, no limit; as long as you remain active, but it is only one per flatsale.

Q. Do you do custom Cloudlings?
A. Yes, we do. The prices vary depending on difficulty.

Q. Do you partake in pet trades?
A. Yes, we do. Feel free to PM the colorist you prefer and if they're interested something can be worked out. Please see the post on Pet Trades.

Q. When's the next Flatsale?
A. Not quite sure, but when there is one you'll know.

Q. How much do Cloudlings cost in a Flatsale?
A. They are usually 4,000 gold.

Q. Do I have to roleplay to own a Cloudling?/ How active must I be?
A. No, you do not have to roleplay.
However, this does not mean that you're allowed to purchase a Cloudling and vanish, never to be seen again.
Just talk to us a little/stay alive and you'll do fine.

Q. Do roleplayers get extra perks?
A. Yes.

Q. Can I reserve an Cloudling?
A. No, that is not fair to others. You can, however, have someone proxy for you if you can not be online. This will NOT guarantee that you get a Cloudling, it just lets someone buy one for you. Flatsales happen every once in a while, and you need to be there or wait until the next one.
If you do happen to miss a flatsale, you could always try your luck at a raffle or wait it out at an auction.
Also, special events may also pop up around holidays, or may even be totally random.

[[ Silver Lining ]]

The small child stared up at the clouds with a sad look; his day had been so bad. It hadn't been his parents fault, no, not theirs. Maybe his bad day had been his own? He had so wanted a little dog, that one, heck; he'd have taken any pet really. He wanted to wrap his hands around something fluffy.
Sighing lightly the boy turned his eyes to the clouds again and started to pick out shapes.
That one was a star.
That one was an angel.
That one was a fox.
That one was a gryphon.
That one was a dinosaur.
And was the fox getting closer? Or was it just him?
Light swirled down and suddenly the cloud appeared in front of him. It swirled around the frightened boy, hugging him with its fluffy softness.
Finally, it stopped in front of him and the cloud swirled back into a fox slowly again, color starting to appear in it as slowly as it formed, looking almost like a sunrise or sunset in the sky.
Then with a bright sounding pop, a tiny red fox sat in front of him, little clouds swirling around its paws and tail. It wagged its tail happily for a moment and grinned up at the boy.
"Hello, I'm Atmos the fox. It's nice to meet you." The little fox said to the boy happily.
The boy's eyes threatened to pop out of his head in shock. Had that thing just talked?! It had come from the sky and it talked!? This was too much.
"Hold on there bucko! You asked for a pet right? Well here I am!" the fox told the boy as he started to scramble to his feet.
Gazing out of the corner of his eye, the boy stared at the fox, "My pet?"
"Of course? Why else would I be a fox?"
He stared at the fox for a second more and turned to face the fuzzy red thing, and then he leaned down and ran his hand over its silky fur. A pet? His pet? That he'd asked for and was made out of clouds just for him?
Tears ran down his face slowly and he stared at Atmos and hugged him to his chest as he sobbed. Maybe his day hadn't been so bad after all.

Post the form with the correct information.
You may choose only one number so make sure you choose wisely.
The F represents the female cloudlings and the M represents the male cloudlings.

No edditing.
Once you choose a number you may not edit it and replace it with a new one.
Those that do, will be blacklisted.

Post the number after GO has been posted in silver, green, or dodgerblue.
If you post before a staff member tells you to "GO" it will not be counted.

24 hours is the key.
You should have the money needed to purchase a Cloudling if you win a flatsale.
If a trade does not come within 24 hours, your Cloudling is up for grabs once more.

You may buy for a friend.
You'll give up your chance at attaining an egg from that specific flatsale.

Send the trade before hand.
Send the trade once you have been acknowledged as the winner to [ Silver Lining ].

• Bid only what you have.
  If you win the auction, you must have the amount you bidded by the end of the auction.
  Trade must be sent to [ Silver Lining ].
  
  
• Be friendly.
  Make conversation with others in the thread.
  
  
• Do not intimidate others.
  Do not say things like, "You better not bid or else I'll outbid you,"
  "I have more than enough money to beat you," or anything of the sort.
  
  
• No sniping.
  You can't just show up at the end of the auction and post expecting to win.
  To prevent this, the auction ends 15 minutes after the last bid.
  If a bid is placed in the area of 15 minutes before the auction's ending time.
  (i.e. if someone bids at 1:55pm and the auction ends at 2:00pm, then the ending time will be extended until 2:10pm, otherwise the auction's ending time will remain the same)
  
  
• No retracting bids.
  Once you bid it, you're entitled to keeping it.
  If you win with that bid, you must send the trade to [ Silver Lining ], otherwise you will be blacklisted.

The Cloudlings are not RP-required, but there are perks to an active RPer, such as being able to breed, and some events will be RP-based.

Please read these rules before you RP.

- No God moding. This means you cannot control someone else's Cloudling in an way or kill everyone off. Only RP your OWN character.

- Be nice! Don't leave people out.

- Please keep the content of your RP PG-13 and under.

- Always keep ooc interaction between players polite.

- Keep swearing to a minimum.

- The Cloudlings live on a kingdom in the clouds, if you will, however many constantly go down to the human lands to seek a partner, in which to be friend. Roleplaying can be done on either places

- Addition to the no god-moding rule; if you want your Cloudling to have a power or ability, ASK PERMISSION FIRST. No randomly bringing about some almighty power without permission from the shop owners.

Breeding Rules:
- In order to breed there MUST be roleplay between the couple and the MUST be mates.
- Interspeices breeding is allowed, however there will be no hybrid children, they will either be the speices of the mother or the father
- This is done via randomizer so it is completely up to chance.
- Babies do not always take on all or any traits as the parents!
- Your Cloudling and its mate cannot be (blood) related-
- You may have mates that are owned by the same person, however there must be extense roleplaying to deem them worthy of a breeding.
- Only felis of opposite gender may breed. (No male/male or female/female). Once in a while, RARE exceptions are made, but do not ask for one (by 'one' I mean an exception).
- If you have not been informed by Nuxaz that you are allowed a gay breeding between a certain pair, you are not allowed an exception, simple as that. Do not make assumptions.
- You are allowed auction or raffle off a child of the cloudling, however you must give another one up that will be through a free event.
-When auctioning a baby, the Autobid must be set to 600k
-The profits will be split in three ways; 40% to both owners (20% each), 50% to colorist, 10% back to shop.

Once in a while, breeding spots will open. Each spot costs 3,000g and can be split between owners.

Cloudlings can only breed twice and can have 2 - 5 bundles. Once your cloudling and their mate are on the breeding list, it can take up to a week for the clouds to arrive
