I - I...I love Monster High. ಥᗣಥ
I - I - oh man, lookit these gorgeous girls and all those edits! (You guys even did SDCC Frankie! *admires*) I had such a fun time picking out who was who (before scrolling down and grinning at the bios, ahahah). Rejam! blue! It's amazing to think you've been slowly taking over the world working on these since April...sitting on the big suprise for months... Aaarghohgosh it is so hard not to zoom in straight away on my favourite girls (Ghouliaaa, Abbyyy), and I am pawing at the rest thanks to their amazing translations...man, I try so hard not to go in for cosplays though, I become such a stickler for ICness. ;_; I - I can't wait to see where they'll all go off to, they're so totes amazing. *tries to sit on hands* Yeah, yeah, Jun, go on, let's see where you are by the 12th of August.
I am definitely going to toss in a CAM though - I just friggin' adore the heck out of the CAM concept, and the Matope version is so. Cute. I love how we have to submit the actual inevitably-groanworthy-puntastic Monster High name as well!
EDIT: ASFGJLK I was all ready to put in for a Vera Cala...and then I remembered Skelita Calaveras was coming out. DX *settles for a Bonnie Jangles instead, maybe. XD)
REJAAAM your MH repaints are so beautiful and evocative! Lucky whoever it was who ended up with Echo, and Avery is always aaaah perfect.
I am so jelly of all of you who can get MH dolls easily, I gotta admit! XD I've been waiting long hard years in vain for them to get to Singapore - I've searched the usual doll-dealers, the usual auction venues, and last time I looked, there were no options for Asia at all. Late last year I finally found a store carrying a few odd pieces - for about 100(basics)-500(events) bucks each. "It will probably come to Singapore sooner or later," the proprietress said sympathetically as I ogled the price tag. Even so, I nearly caved for SDCC Ghoulia at $350. I didn't (who could?), but they still have not come to Singapore later.
/tl;dr sad toy collector story
EDIT: I just checked again for possible movements (nope) on the local doll scene for MH...and found this wonderfully esoteric exchange on WikiAnswers:
Q: Where in Singapore can you buy monster high dolls?
A: You can't in Singapore, but you can at a mall in Singapore. Find Justice inside the mall, and ask for one.
Presumably just above 'Stop Global Warming', next to 'World Peace'.
Whoah-oh, Rejam, that is so gorgeous and creepy and surreal! It looks so...walkable. *falls through and dies*
