Mousecats live in groups of around 5-15. They are very social creatures, and like to interact with each other regularly. They don't like to strike out on their own very often, as it's dangerous for a mousecat to venture off on it's own. Dragons, on the other hand, are solitary and prefer their own company. While dragons prefer to live in caves, Mousecats live in forests, preferably in the tree canopies. While dragons like to keep to themselves, they will live with a colony of mousecats in a sort of symbiotic relationship. The dragons act as bodyguards, while the mousecats help them to look for food or even shiny objects.Both species are capable of using magic, though only to small extents. Their spells are not designed for combat, as a mousecat would sooner flee then fight while a dragon would just use it's physical might to attack whomever.Technology is of a somewhat 'medieval' era. Both species have some dexterity in their front paws/claws allowing them to create simple items. However, Dragons have a natural resistance to fire which has allowed them to forge items out of gold and silver. The world of Drakor is set in a very ancient time period (think Jurassic era). There are a few modern day animals roaming about like deer, cows, zebra, and other hoofed animals (the dragons needed something to eat). And lots of insects, but the rest of them are purely from prehistoric times. Yes that includes the tyrannosaurs rex. Thankfully they don't' come encounter the gigantic animals often, as they are only in certain parts of Drakor.
