Hi everyone! This looks like fun! I mostly read mystery thriller novels, they tend to be my comfort zone, I wont stop reading them but I think I should incorporate a little bit of variety this year. Hope everyone has fun!

It was really good, but I see why my sister was more interested then me. She teaches nursing. Lady Tan is a doctor back when women weren't allowed to be anything but wives in China.
It automatically returned when I had an hour of listening left. It was starting to be more complicated then I like, so I didn't exactly finish it, but other then that, it was def a good book.
I just feel like learning now, instead of reading a story.

omg you guys!! Jennette's story was so heartbreaking that I had to take breaks to digest her words. I totally understand why she's not acting anymore. geez. I just finished it not 5 minutes ago. and I'm just reeling here. What an awful awful mom. Poor girl. I hope she's doing well now. I hope she found a new boyfriend who supports her. and I hope she has learned to actually enjoy food. and her body in healthy ways.
Now I can move on to the next. I have it for 8 more days. Better take a good long break before I start it tho.
Specific Challenges: actually read some of the series I haven't finished yet, instead of just re-reading only old favs
Current Read(s): re-reading the entire Warriors series, waiting on the newest set to be released in boxset form, so I may not get to read those. but managed to get all the super editions and the novellas instead.
Completed: all warriors books (up to The Raging Storm, about halfway through), all of Bleach, and started on Saiyuki. finished a few manga online, and even some webcomics, some short stories and creepypastas as well.
Specific Challenges: 1. To finish a series, any series this year. It was supposed to be a series that I had already on my shelves but I ended up starting The Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells in January and have two more left before I finish it. 2. To find the books I want to read at the library instead of buying more.
Current Read(s): Dune by Frank Herbert, it's been a slow going process because I don't usually gravitate towards science fiction.
