My name is: Sapphire Elane Clegane
I am: 22
I am a: Female
My position: Princess
I tend to act like: Sapphire is one of the more complex and confusing of the Clegane siblings, she's brash, she's rude, she's cold towards others, distrusting to many, she's snobbish, and she's got a horrible temper to boot. She is unafraid to speak her mind be it to her parents or some stranger on the street, and this has many times put her in a speck of trouble. However Sapphire isn't all bad, and she has quite a soft spot for her younger siblings even if she says some awful things to them, but she always turns around to apologize if she is in the wrong. She is very supportive of them and loves to see them succeed in anything they strive to do.

My story goes like this: Sapphire has been raised much like any other princess in the history of the world, she's been given the highest level of education ranging from philosophy to musical arts and everything in between. Growing up she's always shown her stubbornness, one of the many attributes she'd inherited from her father, but in turn she's always used to show a love for man kind and the overall well being of others. Even at her young age though she understood what was going on in the world, for the most part at least, and she hated the fact that people were dying to protect her family and herself from the harsh war that was upon them. With that in mind upon her 7th birthday she demand that her gift be a sword so that she may too defend her home and those she loved with her life, this her parents were not too pleased with. She was a princess, the pride and future of the Clegane family and kingdom. Infuriated she did not rest until she'd convinced both her parents to higher a guard to instruct her in the art of war, and she was unrelenting even threatening to leave home and find someone who would train her to fight. In the end she was successful but on one condition, she would not begin her training until she was 10, with that she couldn't argue.
The man that had been given the position as her personal guard a few years later was the one who became her trainer, and he was a man of great prowess, and skill. Sapphire has always looked up to the man as a role model, and later a very close and trusted friend.
At the age of 10, the same year she'd been promised she could start her training, she'd ventured out on horseback into the woods with a pair of guards as escorts on her daily ride. Feeling a little bold she spurred her horse forward veering from the path intentionally loosing the guards, but this was not the first time she'd gone off on her own so she knew getting lost in those woods was near impossible as she knew the place like the back of her hand. Slowing the horse to a walk she was simply enjoying her freedom when she was jumped, it had all happened so quickly that she didn't have any time to react before a cloth was placed over her mouth and nose prior to loosing consciousness.
When she came to she'd been chained to a wall in what appeared to be a cabin of sorts, she'd been kidnapped by a small party of men who had already sent out a ransom to her parents. On a daily basis the men mocked her, threatened her, and regaled her with ideas of what they would do to her if her parents didn't send the gold. She recalled screaming at them to kill her, that she would've taken over the other 'ideas' they had been talking about. Needless to say she was not treated so kindly by her captors, starved of food and water she was left weak.
After a couple of weeks she began to fear the worst since there had been no word from her parents, and not a single soul had come to rescue her from that dark hell. The sun had already set one evening and the men had began to pack their items since staying there had been a waste of their time, they were going to find slavers and sell her at the highest price they could get and leaver her to her fate. She promised them she'd kill herself before they had the chance. Just as the leader raised his fist to beat her the main door had been kicked in, and there stood her personal guard. During the battle he managed to free her begging that she run, but in her weakened state she was no match for her pursuers. The last bit she can remember is her guard coming to her aid once more, then everything went black.
She'd been injured during her rescue by a heavy blow to her head, a blow hard enough that nearly killed her leaving her in a sleep for a couple of days. When she awoke her vision had become blurry, but only slightly. Over time her vision has quickly began to degenerate, she will be blind in less than five years from now. The onset of blindness has been a secret kept to the family and the healer that was there to aid in her recovery, but ever since the kidnapping the general public and her family have noticed many changes. She's never been the same since, and many citizens believe she is and never will be fit to be queen, she's even addressed those in the castle that she doesn't wish to be a princess and has times become angry over their luck of living free and happy that she's lashed out on them for little to no reason.
Anything I've forgotten: She has a 4 year old dappled Grey mare named Sheeva whom she's very much attached to. Her weapon of choice is a
Rapier, and she carries it with her most everywhere she goes.
