Thae vs. Earth Accepted Profiles

Throughout the world there is always talk about parallel dimensions and some people have wanted to travel there. Well now you're in luck there have been a few people that have traveled and return to their home called Earth, they never said how they got there until one person was secretly tortured by a government concerned about the parallel universe being a threat. The gate to the other world named Thrae is opened by a human with a special power and he comes from Earth! Angered, the government wants his arrest for treason so the governor could use the power for himself. Before capture the human opened a huge dimensional rift with a gun pointed at his head so the governor's soldiers could explore the new world with the human, known as Kacey Tohme as their guide.

At the first minute of contact the beings of Thae and the humans of Earth disliked each other, with the soldiers' insensitivity towards these new, never before seen beings. They looked somewhat human but had animalistic features to them, for example a human with butterfly wings or with deer legs and antlers. Now there's a war between the two worlds thanks to human's insolence and insensitivity. Now it's up to Kacey's friends and the members of Thae, whom call themselves sprites must fight just to protect their land and free the man who opened the portal and take him back to Thae before closing the portal forever.

Bio: Asi has always been rather thin for a Ryfercraft even though they don't get fat easily anyways. It's because he practices eating only the amount of food that humans eat instead of three times the amount like his brethren eat. When he was young he always trained to improve his stamina and speed, including how much his body could work with less food. Because of his seemingly crazy practices he had little friends from his clan so when he heard about the portal opening and the strict laws the clans set on not to go in, he went, finding himself in the human world. Getting a job as a performer at a circus until people knew more about him for being famous, the circus was none other than cirque du solei. Eventually he moved on to a few other jobs, one as an actor, the others more low end like construction. He was found to out perform people in most jobs and ended up making the government want to enslave the people of Thae. Now he works as a one man army to try and stop the humans, find the man who opened the portal who was captured and save his home world.
Personality: Kind, shy, compassionate, gentle. He's a good fighter but he's also a pacifist, preferring not to fight and tries to find a way out even when it seems unavoidable.

Bio:
Kacey realized his power since he was young but couldn't even use it for the longest time, but he did notice shining liquid-like portals throughout his life from grade school to high school, living with his parents and going once owning a fox who's den got destroyed. One day when he was 18 he decided to practice opening these portals and made sure to get on the good side of the natives living in those worlds, his respect was always rewarded and we was given weapons and gifts, symbols of their culture. Knowing that if the weapons from the other worlds were found the wars of Earth would become much more dangerous and threaten our existence. Eventually he decided to hide them in another world, one that he knew had no inhabitants, the world of bone. The world of bone is a parallel universe of Earth but the worst case scenario of war, everything dead.

After traveling through many worlds he came across Thae which became his instant favorite, there was so many beautiful, pristine landscapes that were covered in nature, there were cities but even those had nature everywhere and the vehicles there where sustainable and even helpful to nature. The people there were gorgeous and beautiful beyond compare and very soon he was like the newest member of a really big family where everyone knew everyone and they all get along. He always had to return home to avoid going missing and whenever he found someone he could trust or if their life was in danger he'd use his power to send them to another universe for a moment before returning them when it was safe. Eventually he was captured and tortured, always getting bruises and even his lower lip cut into. Once he gets free, he wouldn't mind settling down and mentoring an apprentice, teaching the skills of being a good Rifter, someone who knows how to open the universal gates without getting detected and making sure the world balance stays in the green.

Bio: She is the daughter of a well known Mentis warrior, whom went soft upon meeting a human scientist whom had crossed over to study the new interesting beings, in the pre-war years.

Her father had deserted his once prominent position to be with this strange been that had crossed over, from another dimension. Together they lived happily far away from the wars reaches. And the young girl had been born to them.

She lived happily with both her parents though lack a few social skills for having been raised basically alone, so she tends not to really understand personal space that well. Mostly because she was always all over her parents, and they never scolded her for such behavior.

Eventually their happy lives were interrupted, for the war had reached their land. By both sides. The human soldiers came down in a sudden manner and burned their lovely forest that they called home. Their little hut didn't stand much of a chance. But they managed to escape them.

But that was not the tragic part of the story, oh no. They had escaped the human threat, but unwittingly had walked right in to... the Mentis threat.
Her father was taken as a deserter as a prisoner and her mother too. Unbeknown to the young girl, her mother was to be executed, for she was the enemy... Despite having no fault in what the humans had done. Her father pleaded that the young girl at least be spared. He knew that she would have the same fate are her mother, for being a halfing. Many on looked in disgust at the young girl, but she did not understand what was happening, for she was an innocent child. Thankfully, his years of loyal service were not ignored and the girl was spared. But basically banished to live alone. Her father was taken away as a prisoner to rot, and her mother to death. And the young girl was left alone, in the ravaged land. She remembered her fathers face, it wasn't that of a strong warrior like she had come to know him, but of a broken spirit for he had failed to protect the woman and child he loved. Her mother, didn't look like the cheery and curious person that had held her when she was sick, no. She looked ashamed and disappointed, but most of all distressed at the fact that she would not be there to hold her child anymore. Their final words to here were.
"Be strong, like I have taught you to be." uttered her father tiredly.

"And be happy, for everything will be alright" soothed her mother.

Those words resounded within the young girl's heart, as she watched them be taken away, she sat alone on the wasted ground, claimed by the war.

Bio: Lana grew up as the youngest of seven children. She was always teased by her brothers and sisters for having the most 'boring' wings. Though her wings only had a couple of major colors unlike her siblings, Lana became the strongest in flight. This trait both saved her from trouble and got her deep into it.

As a young adult Lana would hone her flight skills by trying to fly through the tightest and most difficult terrain she could find. Usually these areas were reserved for the military forces of Thae and she often had to be escorted off the premises. After stubbornly going back to continue her own training, Lana was allowed to join the ranks of the Mentis to fight the humans. Though not a high ranking official, Lana has proven herself to a handful of Mentis and holds their respect.

Now she works with the forces of Thae both by herself and together with the Mentis when they need her flight skills.

Bio: Neah was an only child and quite adventurous in his youth. Most times these adventures were spent alone, the other boys of his age too busy flirting up any female that moved. He was trained to use his senses and stealth more than weapons and to avoid a fight whenever possible. He joined when he was 17 and has rescued many people from dangerous situations. He caries a specialized staff with blades at the tips for safety but has only needed to use it twice, although, it had gotten bad recently and he realizes that he will need to use it more.
