{{ Class ;; Thief.
{{ Magic ;; Even though Cecylia is a thief and she isn’t a master at magic, she has mastered Haste and Hastega (these two spells help her so much when stealing). Even though she has learned them, Cure and Vanish are her weakest magic. As of right now, Cecylia is only able to use those spells on herself, not on anyone else.
{{ Techniques ;; First of all, Steal is Cecylia’s her oldest and most used technique. With her age and experience, she’s able to steal about almost anything, so watch out for her sticky fingers. She can steal almost all items, a fair amount of money, some MP, and once in awhile if she is lucky; Cecylia steals an extremely rare weapon or armor. Even without the spell, Haste, Cecylia is pretty fast and usually relies on her speed for her physical attacks. Her best technique, or Overdrive, is a combination of her stealing ability, her forte at mixing items, and Cecylia’s speed. She is able to steal items, and at the same time, mix them, throw them at the enemy, and hit the enemy a few times with her own weapons. So far, she has only been able to mix two items at once, but Cecylia is trying to get the level where she can mix up to four items at once. Cecylia also knows how to use the technique Mug, but she doesn’t use it too much.

{{ Equipment ;; As a thief in general, Cecylia doesn’t wear much jewelry—the ones she does wear are very light. Her pendent she usually tucks inside her top is white gold and has a simple clear blue stone attached to it, given to her by Cecylia’s mother. Her ears are normally earring-less, but sometimes she puts in small white gold hoops. Her anklet is a simple thin chain that is usually hidden in her boots.

All the armor Cecylia does wear is never heavy because that would hinder her speed. She wears protective skin-tight soft leather gloves that raise her defense a little bit, about 10%. The boots she wears increases her speed about 10% as well. Other than those two items, Cecylia doesn’t wear much armor. But besides, what kind of thief needs armor? Cecylia can just steal a Potion or whatever to cure herself.

And as for Cecylia’s weapons? Well, she has many little sharp weapons that she likes to throw. But Cecylia doesn’t like to use them because she isn’t that efficient mainly because her accuracy isn’t all that great. Unless its an emergency, Cecylia keeps them in that little pouch strapped to her right thigh. Her two main weapons are her two long daggers. They are strapped, when she is not using them, to the back of her shorts, making a little X. The sheaths are high up, actually, the top of them reaching to the middle of her back. If they were lower, it would hinder her running. They are quite lengthy, longer than a normal knife. They are about a little less than two feet, and curve just a little bit. Her knives’ handles are covered in durable sandy colored leather and are kept there with black strings that criss-cross over the handle. The blades are very razor-sharp and are a shiny gray color. They aren’t fancy as some other weapons Cecylia could have had, but she’s had them even since she first started being a thief and it’s her so called “baby”. Her name for the right one is Lucyna. Her left knife is called Helyo.

{{ Clothing ;; Since speed is the key point in being a thief, Cecylia doesn’t wear heavy or draping clothing. In fact, she wears extremely revealing clothing. So, it’s possible the first thought upon seeing Cecylia is ‘SLUT’. But that’s okay, Cecylia’s grown to love what she wears, and besides she has a nice body, so what’s the use in showing it off? Anyways, Cecylia’s straight white blonde hair is most often pulled away from her face, but she likes to experiment with different styles of her, so Cecylia has no definite kind of hairstyle. She rarely puts anything fancy in her hair, but Cecylia wears a simple silver clip in her hair to usually pull back her nose brushing bangs.

It’s a wonder how Cecylia can never get sick, seeing as her clothing covers about seventy percent of her body. Soft tan cotton wraps around her chest, ending just below her bust. The shirt’s necklace is cut at an extremely slanted angle. But the top does cover her right arm, it is very tight all the way to just above Cecylia’s elbow—her left arm is completely bare, so her top just has one sleeve. About an inch and a half skin later, a dark blue leather strap encircles her trim waist, and since it’s two inches wide, it leaves her belly button bare.

Her bare arm has band made of leather that covers her upper arm and is the color of dark blue. Her left hand has a glove on it, which is also leather (like naked leather), and is white with a dark blue circle in the middle of her palm. The right glove looks the same except it’s dark blue all over except for the circle that is white. The gloves are tight and stop right where her palm meets her arm.

Riding low on her slim hips is a pair of dark blue short shorts. Her shorts are literally underpants…except maybe a bit longer. Which means she either wears a thong or nothing at all. But that’s a secret! And there are little small hooks strap things where she holds her knives. There is a tan pouch strapped to her right thigh that holds her little throwing weapons, her Gil, and her Items (whether she bought them or stole them).

Down to her feet. Her feet are in a pair of soft white/beige boots that are made of some sort of soft leather. All Cecylia knows is that these boots are the best and have been through thick and thin. The bottoms are completely flat, she doesn’t need any more height seeing that she is about five feet seven inches. The boots cover her ankles and stop just short of below the middle of her shins.

{{ Tell a Tale ;; Ah.. Cecylia’s life.

Ah.. Cecylia’s life.

Cecylia was born in that little town of Yahn in the Leima. Ironically, her family is one of the most prominent families in that town. Her father was in the council that makes the laws and stuff (like a little legislature) and her mother was the head of store that is apart of chain of shops all over Leima. So to put it straight, Cecylia had a well to do family, no scratch that, a rich one. Her parents had two kids before her, one brother and one sister who are all grown up. Her brother was followed Cecylia’s father’s footsteps and was married to a girl from an equally politically powerful family (it was an arranged marriage). The same went with her elder sister; she was married to a wealthy man in order to build relations. So when Cecylia cam along, it was sort of expected for her to be married off like her other two siblings.

With her parents being important figures in the Yahn community, a hired nanny, whom Cecylia loved dearly, raised Cecylia. As a child, there were many lessons that would teach her to be a proper lady. An extremely headstrong person, even at the age of seven, Cecylia proved to be adept at avoiding her instructors (yes, she had her own private tutors). She often snuck out of her big house to venture the town. For some reason, Cecylia had always felt a thrill in breaking the rules, especially her parents’ rules. Cecylia’ favorite place to go was the market. There were so many things happening at once, and new things for her to see everyday. So much more interesting than her boring ‘ole lady lessons at home. At seven, she was already extremely friendly and smart. Ever though she was young, Cecylia made a lot of friends.

Cecylia was thirteen was when she came across a little tournament of fighters. After wandering the marketplace for an hour, Cecylia had found the empty space usually reserved for once in awhile traveling fair or circus or carnival was filled with many people. Pushing through the crowd of people, Cecylia managed to get to front to see who was in the raised arena. By asking the people around her, Cecylia learned that it was the final round of the tournament. The prize was apparently a lot of Gil. In the arena was two men, one extremely muscled and with a large board sword. The other who held two circle blades and was also a slender Mithra. Completely enraptured by the battle, she watched it play out. The thinner man first took several items from the other man, which of course pissed the muscled man like no other. But in the end, the slender man had won, using his speed to hit key points on the other man’s body.

After the battle, Cecylia had become infatuated with the fighting skill of the winner. She approached him and has asked him what kind of fighter was he. After finding out he was a thief, she begged him to teach her. At first, the man had refused, but by stealing his winning Gil that was in a pouch tied to his waist, Cecylia proved her worth at becoming a thief. He would become her teacher for the next five years. He was a forty-five year Mithra who

Fast-forward five years. During that time, Cecylia had become a thief who was deadly in speed and accurate in stealing. With the help of her long-loved nanny, Tokima who was like a mother to her, she was able to sneak out (through Cecylia, Lirasse and Tokima had met and eventually married). While she was learning under the tutelage of Lirasse, Cecylia had become attached to the freedom and thrill it gave her. Tokima had also taught her a little bit of magic that would later become useful. She had begun to hate more and more her stuffy life at home. She started to rebel at home. Instead of wearing the demure clothing she was taught to wear by her instructors, she wore revealing clothing. Cecylia came home late at night, sometimes disappearing for two or three days (mostly spending it with Lirasse). Her home at Yahn caused Cecylia to start hating rules and regulations. Always the prankster, Cecylia started a lot of mischief all over the town. The five years were the best years of her teen hood. But then… her parents found out.

At first, they were confused at her constant disappearances. Already stricken at her misbehavior, they simply brushed it off as Cecylia going through a phase. But as Cecylia turned eighteen, they had finally decided to investigate. What her parents discovered was that their precious marriage ticket was training to be a thief with a male Mithra and of all people, Cecylia’s nanny. Furious, they had used their connections banish Lirasse and Tokima from Yanh. Cecylia was basically forced to stay inside the house to get ready for her upcoming wedding. Before he and Tokima had left, Lirasse has gifted Cecylia her two knives, Lucyna and Helyo, and that delightfully useful pouch. Her long time nanny gave her the necklace that would slightly enhance her [Cecylia’s] magic. Cecylia was tearful over this parting and vowed to leave Yahn at this point. She was already addicted to the freedom being a thief gave her and not wanting to be married off, she left. One month later, before the day of her wedding to some man, Cecylia simply packed her belongings, snuck out of her house, and left Yahn for good.

Cecylia went everywhere in Leima, and six months after she left Yahn, Cecylia left for a different country, Dezy.
As her parents were all for Oedeffes, Cecylia chose to voice her disapproval for the man mainly because she wanted to go against what her parents thought. Lirasse and Tokima both influenced her because both didn’t like some of the changes he was making. As Cecylia has traveled, she heard good and bad things about Oedeffes’s changes. As of now, she has become truly against him. Of the late, she has been wondering about if there is a movement against the man, and most recently been dwelling on the voice who spoke of the warning. Of course, Cecylia isn’t too sure she would join the resistance if she had a choice. It’s way too late for that, now.

{{ Hold a Mirror ;; Ever heard of the expression “live everyday and every moment like it is your last”? That is basically Cecylia’s slogan of life. If there is one thing you can count on Cecylia, it is definitely the fact that she loves to enjoy everything and knows how to have fun. Cecylia is like a random light leaf in a windy sky, free and unrestrained.

If her skin-baring outfit doesn’t draw you in, then the openness of her expression will. There really hasn’t been a person that Cecylia hates, (there have been people Cecylia dislikes, which is a big difference to her than hate) and she really knows how to get along with just about anyone. The Hume is always full of daring ideas and loves to do outrageous things, meaning she will do just about anything crazy. Cecylia is amazingly friendly and will go out of her way to make conversation with complete strangers. She doesn’t care about the whole STRANGER DANGER concept; it’s really a stupid idea to her after all that’s basically how she met her mentor. This kind of notion she has is due to the fact since her parents didn’t like her to talk to strangers, of course Cecylia would talk to strangers. However, Cecylia really does enjoy talking to people she doesn’t even know, it’s fun to her almost like a game. And, of course, as she is always trying to rebel, Cecylia began to talk to a lot of strangers back at Yahn. But this gave her a lot of friends and acquaintances all over her country.

Even though Cecylia is incredibly open and sociable, she does have some bad sides to her. She definitely has very little tact. Even with all those lady lessons, she can be very hurtful with what she says. Part of the reason is because she is so blunt with her words that sometimes Cecylia can make a person cry (it happened one time with another Hume, but that’s another story). Although she doesn’t mean to be so truthful and straightforward, Cecylia has always been like that so it is hard for her to change that aspect of herself. The other part of the reason why she is so blunt is her parents not exactly giving her the change to teach her about grace in her words. Another thing is that Cecylia is kind of a big mouth. You have to tell her specifically to not tell anyone in order for her to keep her mouth shut. Even though it could sound like a secret, if you don’t tell her, there is a big chance she’ll blab it to someone else. It’s a good thing she travels a lot, and then she doesn’t manage to tell too many people’s secrets. If you do talk to her though, there is a hint of a rich girl accent in her voice.

If there is one thing she hates, it is definitely rules. Her lifestyle at home was stern and too authoritative. So, when it comes to breaking rules, Cecylia is all for it. This is part of the reason why she can be so wild and mischievous. Sometimes she gets a little angry over stupid rules that pop up every now and then. Then she makes a statement by breaking the rule and hightailing the hell out of there. Cecylia does has a temper, but it takes a lot of annoyances for it to come out. But it’s not really anything to be afraid it. If she does get pissed at someone, she will turn stone silent and start giving everyone these cold glares that say, “Get the HELL out of my way”. When she does get angry, even if it’s in a midst of laughter or a smile, all of suddenly she just falls quiet—almost like she is bipolar. Buut, give it a few days or even overnight for her too cool off, and then she’ll be all smiles again. …So okay, Cecylia might be a just a little bit bipolar, but in a good way!

For one talkative thief and very amiable person, Cecylia is a one (wo)man show.
Although she would definitely rather travel alone then with a group of people, because she hates to be burdened with other people’s troubles. But, hey! —She can deal with it…after awhile.

{{ Political Standpoint ;; To be honest, she didn’t really care when she was younger because Cecylia didn’t notice much about the political world—she was too busy having fun. Her parents were, of course, all for Oedeffes. Her opinion on Oedeffes was that she was against him mainly for the reason that her parents liked the man so much. As she grew up, she was for Thralla as a rebellious teen, but eventually she came to honestly think of it as her political standpoint—not exactly a reason for her to piss her parent off.
