Kiyoshi, s'what I mean. When you throw in all that stuff, whats the point of fantasy? Just keep it simplified at its utmost, you know?

Lotta people forget the main point about roleplaying is that it's supposed to be about entertainment; fun for everyone not just yourself.

S'why I have the style of rping that I do.

People enjoy reading my posts, their not book chapters, not filled with innumerable jargon, and not all complicated to follow.

It carries emotion, feeling and reality with it, if that makes sense to you.

S'what being a writer is about, creating bridges with readers.

S'why most of the FFA is also hopeless. People forgot how to have fun.

I'm a writer too, and there are multiple reasons I left the FFA when I did. One of them was to focus more on writing and less of FFA BS.

Then I find that with all the BS, there are still good writers here. Better then stagnate places in Commerce. So, I come back and attempt to learn some of the BS that drove me away.

gonk Then all I learn is that it way over-complicates any RPing and turns Gaia into a lawyer's game where the sucky RPers that are brianiacs with no life, get a bunch of fancy terms and make RPing no fun for the actual RPers.

So now I'm at a turning point...

I want to stay in the FFA and make it fun, but am not quite sure how yet.

My character that is locked to melee and having melee used on him is my first step I 'spose. Using artifacts to counter magic and psionics, limiting myself and others to melee.

Even melee can have arguements, but at least the level is something that a high schooler or less with the knowledge of thier own body can understand.
