I think even fire users themselves all have a 'limit' so to speak to what they can withstand.

As much as I can't enforce a rule like this (as referenced to virtually any gaming system, where some things have complete immunity to certain elements or even outright absorb them to gain HP), I wholeheartedly agree with it. No one is going to be penalized in HoH for not taking damage from their own attacks or anything like that, but outside of HoH I extend to everyone the backhand of learning.

See the following example:

I'm in the middle of a lake. I'm swimming. I can swim pretty well, and it's no trouble for me to keep above the water. Therefore, it doesn't matter how deep the lake is, because I can just stay on the top. Does that mean I have an immunity to lakes? Not really... say I'm in Lake Superior. It's at least a good thirty miles to shore in any direction. I could start swimming towards it, but eventually I'll exhaust myself and not be able to stay above water any longer. At that point I will sink and drown. Kinda makes me wish I was in a really wide wading pool rather than an inland sea.

Now... with an example like that it makes perfect sense to think of immunities in that way. You could wade through the knee-deep water for hours until you find your way out of the Florida Everglades, or you could climb back onto the boat you fell off of in the middle of the Pacific. Wide or deep, neither are a problem... unless they're both there at the same time.

There's the immunity that lets you withstand some of something pretty much indefinitely (Everglades), and there's the immunity that lets you withstand a lot of something for a short period of time (Ocean).

Not too many people can swim across an ocean, and even with the people that try to swim across vast stretches of water there is always a boat following beside them in case they start to drown... because there is a very real danger of people losing their lives that way.
Jello, I only expect one thing out of a fire user.

I expect them to fight naked... ALL THE TIME.

They may be immune to fire, but how the hell is their clothing immune to it too?

Swimming in Lake Superior would get your drowned much faster by hypothermia than exhaustion.

But fire elemental can't melt his own s**t unless he wants too, which I don't imagine happening anytime soon.

Kind of retarded if you mean your cmpletely immune to even the most extreme degrees of heat and flame themselves.

I think even fire users themselves all have a 'limit' so to speak to what they can withstand.

Like in b*****d, when the friggin' Ifrit got burned by Darsh' Gehenna spell or whatever it was--- basically as hot as the sun.

Same when Vahn was fighting Kraun and Kraun ripped open a hole into the Fire Plane-- Vahn nearly got roasted and died from just that bit of exposure if he didn't take measures to protect himself.

Case in point: if you can survive a nuclear blast or come back from being thrown into the sun, you should not be mucking about in the lives of mortal men.

Even Superman, when taking on the brunt of a nuclear explosion was severely weakened and depleted in terms of power, and spent months recovering.

Of course then theres that 40kk Superman who went and slept in the Sun and became Golden Superman or whatever but what can you expect from 90's DC.

Well yeah.

See Retard war of BA vs WKD.

Even in powerplaying Kichi to match the levels of loller Undead Army, with tech, spirit weapons, and some godmode spells that auto-killed everything in the air with some WTF layered plague.

Kichi was a burnt crisp at the end of it with his armor melted to his skin, and clothing almost all gone.

He handles yellow flames typically, those of say, a typical campfire hot enough for the kids' marshmallows. After that, he can continually increase the intensity of flames he can handle, if he focuses on just that.

Still, once you get knocking up at white and blue flames, he starts having to combat his own fire that he controls. A few minutes, he's fine at bunsen burner level. Which is why he can handle MoonShine in most fights, because actions happen in seconds, and fights in a few minutes.

Go beyond ten-fifteen minutes with flames above white, he's sweating up a storm, clothing is starting to get scorched. He starts burning himself, and eventually, it gets too much to handle and he either has to disperse all the fire he can, or blacks out.

Now, you go nuclear, or something with hella radiation, he's just going to have sizzling skin and boils all over. Poison he can fight, but that's another thing.

Kichi has limits.

They don't include frying during a fart though.
Won't this be a interesting HOH.

Stop wondering and start acting.

I'm sure the judges are going "s**t NO NO NO NO MORE PEOPLE"

But mayn, it's become a tradition for me.

I'll be pissed if I miss a HoH

Heh, hmm, that is true.

If by beaten, you mean engulfed in flames once. And then nothing happened the rest of the fight.

Then yes.
