A Game of Thrones


Quite a Game, isn't it? Climbing to political power in a world where so few actually make it can be some scandalous work. Our story follows the central theme of the series....several houses, scattered throughout the land of Westeros. While each house claws it's way towards power, there is a greater power seeping in from the North....the Whitewalkers. Men brought back from the dead, moving south and killing everything in their wake. Beyond the wall, there are the Wildlings. These are the free folk, with no ruler besides the wild they live in. Uncivilized and brash, these hold bitter feelings towards those south of the wall and will do what they have to in order to survive. Guarding the wall from the White walkers and Wildlings are the men of the Night's Watch, residing in Castle Black. They have given up lands, a wife and any sort of life outside of guarding the wall, for only reasons known to them. In Winterfell, House McKinley rules over the widest chunk of land Westeros has to offer. In Storm's End, House Naavee rules, in Casterly Rock, House Livingston rules, in Highgarden, House Jettison rules, in Pyke, House Moore rules, In Riverrun, House Paisley rules, and in King's Landing, the sovereign of all the kingdom's resides, hailing from House Tidwell. Across the Narrow Sea, the Dothraki reside in their barbaric ways.

As you'll notice, the names of the houses have been changed. Each character must reside from one of these lands. but that does not mean your character has to belong to a house. They may simply serve in that kingdom or live their as someone who is not royalty. This is a new Game of Thrones. New characters, new plots, and new ideas. Don't make every character the same as the ones in the series. I've provided the land and houses, you pick up your keyboard and do the rest. Let's have fun! But remember, in the Game of Thrones, you either win, or you D I E.
