My life story: Hayato’s parents had always been…weird. His father had always wanted a child and so did her mother, however she wanted a girl. They had never heard about the curse before and so they went along with it without thinking about it. When Hayato was finally born his mother had picked out a bunch of names for girls so when she was told it was a boy she was dumbfounded. As he was placed in his mothers arms she yelped as a poof of smoke surrounded the infant and in place of the once male child was a small monkey. Instantly his mother shouted out her fathers name, Hayato and from then on it was his name. The room went still and exhausted he rolled onto his side and hiccupped. The still air became filled with adoration and that is where is life began. His parents accepted him for who and what he was, admiring his achievements and happy go lucky attitude. Despite the curse Hayato tried to make the best of his life, or at least faked it in front of his parents. However when he reached five it began to happen. His father was confused and antsy all the time and never seemed to calm down while his mother often died to see Hayato turn into a monkey finding it interesting and amusing to watch. His childhood was rough, besides the bickering between his parents over him, he was teased, she was insulted and at times people would ignore him entirely. But life went on and things continued to change. As he got older the teasing lessened and he soon found himself with many friends and fans. However his father became worse. He grew angry and bitter and eventually ‘it’ started. When his mother was away at work his own father began insulting him, questioning his existence and how he could have ever been born the way he was. By this time they had learned about the curse and he had been invited to live in the main house and with that access became available to see others like him. His father’s memory became whipped of Hayato when they found out that ability like that was also available to them. To his father Hayato Ryosuke Sohma never existed. Now his mother had always been a goof and on his side but as she saw her husband suffer she began the blame game as well. A few years later and her memory were wiped as well and he was all but forgotten by his own parents. But he had not forgotten them.

My life story: Born to a loving family, Haruhi never experienced much trouble at home. Both her parents accepted her curse with relative ease, and became accustomed to it before too long. She had always been impulsive and headstrong, often getting her into trouble. Picking fights with boys was no problem for her, and she did everything on a whim, even at a young age. She's a generally friendly person, however, and often tried her best to get along with the rest of her fellow zodiac. Eventually, she came to develop a crush on Hayato, despite their age differences, and she still likes him to this day.

My life story: Kiyoye’s parents had heard a rumour going around the Sohma estate about a child transforming into an animal. They had been trying to have a child and after hearing this became rather fearful and gave up until the rumour could be confirmed or proven false. However little did Kiyoye’s mother, Megumi, know that she was already pregnant with Kiyoye. So as she began to get into the later steps she became rather antsy not knowing what was going and finally when she went to the hospital she was told she was pregnant. Fearful she talked it over with her husband, and decided that they would keep the child. Five months later and finally Kiyoye was born. She was the apple of her mother’s eye and as she was given to her mother she simple stared at her in awe, believing her to be the most beautiful child in the world. When her father, Jiro, stepped into view to see the child he requested to hold her and as Megumi relentlessly did that Jiro yelped as Kiyoye transformed for the first time into a young puppy. Her father stared at Kiyoye in horror and gave her back to Megumi. Not too long after and Kiyoye turned back into an infant, and by that time Jiro had left the room. Megumi stared after her husband before looking at Kiyoye once more, deciding which one to give up. In the end, Kiyoye stayed with her money and they both got a divorce. But when there was still the problem that the rumour Megumi had heard was true, but she was still dumbfounded at the reason why Kiyoye transformed when she was held by Jiro and not herself. As she looked into it, she discovered about the curse and told her story. Jiro had been busy and had been spreading his news around even though no one believed him. And so when the Sohma family found him his memories were wiped. By this time Kiyoye was only three and never once understanding what was going on. As Kiyoye grew older her mother kept a constant eye on her, hovering over her like a hawk and steering her clear from any dangers. For several years in her life she went to an all girl’s school to avoid transforming. All of this was very suffocating; she never got to have any fun. But she loved Megumi none the less. As she got older she finally convinced her mother to allow her to go to a co-ed school and although her mother constantly has a watchful eye over her she lives her life the best she can.
