Hair color: The spikey shards taht would be his hair are blue in nature.
Distinct Traits: A heavy scar across his chest from the three talons of a dragon's attack.

Weapon Expertise: Staffs, Daggers, Polearms, Rods and Orbs.
Arms in use: Coldmake Glaive
Animal Companion: White Feline - Blizzra is her name. She's normally in the form of a white domestic cat or a bigger persian. In battle she normally assumes the figure of a White Tiger or a Snow Leopard. On rare occasions when in a really good mood, she might take the form of a white lion cub.
Pet(s): None.
Magical Affinities: Psyonic in nature, Cold/Ice Trained.
Enchanted Equipment: His weapon of choice, the Coldmake Glaive's blade is made of never-melt-ice and it can't melt but it can reforge itself into a different shape. The blade can take on the appearance of a spear head, trident head, halbred, partisan or anything Teklar can come up with.

Sexuality: Asexual - refering to having no sexual preference and no wanting either.
Likes: The feeling of the cold wind - he says it helps keep all his shards together in an easier fashion. He also enjoys stary nights and peace.
Hates: Idiots who mistake the foolish act of jumping into battle head-strong as courage. Their's no honor in death, there is just death. Other shardminds also give him a bit of a foul taste in his mouth [read his view on life]. The heat, or extreme heat annoys him, makes it harder for him to concentrate.
View on Life: Teklar has only one goal in his life and it's one that other shardminds have as well, not that all shardminds think a like, but some share this thinking. Teklar believes that the only way to rebuild the Gate that protected the realms from the evil of the Far Realm is to destroy all other Shardminds and then, and only then, will the Gate come back into exsistance.
Personality: Teklar is in his seventies but he doesn't age physically only mentally. He's wise and he likes to impart that wisdom to others, often giving advice where he can. He also has a habit of being quiet, just moving about and not making a sound. From time to time, in his free time he lets the links binding his shards loosen a bit and just becomes a dense cloud of shards and then he re-assimilates himself in a manner of his choosing. To him, this releaves him of most of his stress.
Parents: Not applicable
Brief History: Teklar came to exsistance 73 years ago and since then he has slain more or less ninety of his kind. Not all at the same time, and not one by one, but sometimes in groups, other times in duels. Never-the-less he has not been charged for genocide in his doing so, none of the fallen have blamed him for his actions and neither does the law. The shardmind are a different race than that of humans and their actions are judged differently.

Yet, it is not because of his killings that he is stationed here on the wall. The reason for his being here is self-retribution.

Teklar still carries the scars on his chest of the day that his master died. There was a village not too very far fom the borders of the Solaris. There was an illness in the village and his master was wanting to help the villagers to purge the plague that was aling them. That was the same time that the Black Dragon Grias flew over the Solaris and left part of it scorched. The Black Dragon was never killed, only gravely injured. In it's injured state it decended upon the village for a tastey snack called humans. Teklar, his Master and the Black Snake fought the dragon for a moment to attempt and protect the villagers from harm. Just as the last of the villagers were managing to escape, Teklar attempted a high level spell and the dragon didn't want any of it. A strong slash from the claws was directed at Teklar, and the Young Mage at the time only escaped the battle with his chest scarred because his master laid down his life for him and was torn to shreds. The Black Snake still blames Teklar to this day for their master's / her lover's death.

Needless to say, the Dragon left the village not long after and though the King of Azorith had sent out hunters and riders to find and kill it. It was never found or killed to this day.

Arms in use: Generally keeps the tonfa with him, but if he’s being deployed for a major conflict, he’ll carry a quarterstaff. Has heavy gauntlets at all times.
Animal Companion: A black spider monkey named Maymun. He is capable of taking the form of either a silverback gorilla or a white-faced capuchin in addition to his preferred form.

Magical Affinities: Ki
Enchanted Equipment: Basil’s armor makes him more difficult to find for those who aren’t looking directly at him. He’s blurrier far away and he’s easier to miss if he’s up close. God help you if it’s dark or he slips out of sight.

Likes: Animals, sweets, and physical challenges. He really really likes obstacle courses and the like. He also likes the water a lot, it doesn’t really matter what medium it arrives in.
Hates: Hates people pulling his hair or making fun of it. You will get socked in the face. He also really hates kill-joys and anyone who takes away his booze.
View on Life: Basil just wants to have fun, and if being a member of the White Watch brings him fun opponents and pays him well do crack some skulls, then perfect. A nice family might be okay later on, but the chances of him settling down for longer than a nap or to get hammered is slim.
Personality: Basil is loud, bold, and likes to prank people. Bugging the hell out of everyone is usually fun for him, that and it ensures that the people around him realize he’s there. This, however, should not make anyone mistake him for a fool. He’s simply a bored combat enthusiast. He didn’t get this far on his good looks alone. Get it? That was a joke. Basil’s not good at jokes… On the battlefield, he’s a whole new entity. Basil becomes a fast moving, highly efficient one-man army of doom. Depending on the number of targets, he may or may not be loud as hell. If he’s helping fight an army, he might actually produce noise over the din of battle; if it’s a small group then he’ll stay silent for the fight. If there’s no battle and he’s gone silent, stop talking and leave.
Parents: Basil’s father, and the father of his siblings, was a very wealthy human. He did the deed with many a concubine and that’s how he and his brothers came to be. It must have been a good day or something since all three of them have the same age. Basil’s mother was a very strange woman, especially for a Githzerei to lay with a human. That’s actually the reason Basil’s so hairy. Otherwise, Basil has a lot of affection for both of his parents.
Brief History: Basil’s reasons for being on the Wall are incredibly simple, he wants to battle. He is one of the few volunteers, though his brothers may have a different story… For a while they were all members of the main fighting force of the Royal Army. They did fine there, but they were rowdy, usually. They were also very taxing on the nerves of everyone there. And by they, of course I mean Basil. As a prankster he was often accidentally causing minor training accidents. No one got seriously hurt, but a lot of people were annoyed a lot. At least, that’s what he figured might have factored into the decision of sending the three brothers here.

In reality, Basil is happy on the wall. There’s a nice view and there’s a constant threat to keep him entertained. With the White Watch, Basil also now has Maymun to assist him with doing horrible things to his friends and family. It’s a wonder just how useful telepathic communication can be.

Animal Companion: Ominous Owl - Talisi is known as the Ominous Owl because of her companion, an owl by the name of Freefall. Freefall's preferred form is that of a barn owl, though she can also take the forms of a short-eared owl, an eagle-owl, and, when she wishes to avoid detection or is feeling playful, an elf owl.

Enchanted Equipment: Arrows. Before each arrow is fired, Talisi enchants it to make it fly smoother and truer. If she isn't completely concentrated or is interrupted, the spell does not work.

Likes: Cool nights, pre-dawn, physical exertion, and singing. Talisi enjoys the peace of the night and loves the feeling of being awake while everyone else is sound asleep. Her free time is spent either training or exercising, or composing songs in her mind.
Hates: Malicious beings, feeling vulnerable, being called "elf," and heavy silences. Talisi dislikes needlessly violent and aggressive behavior. She is light-hearted, despite her solemn eladrin nature, and dislikes awkward or angry silences.
View on Life: She believes that her purpose in life is to protect others. Talisi also enjoys immersing herself in the cultures of other races, and doesn't believe in racial segregation - whether forced or voluntary.
Personality: Although Talisi is often regarded as distant and haughty because of her race, she is anything but. On the contrary, Talisi is deeply curious about everyone and everything she comes across, from shard-minds to the Solaris to the Myst that constantly surrounds her. If she meets someone interesting, she will not hesitate to bombard them with questions, or, once a friend is made, ask them what they think of her new song or if they'd like to spar; however, on an ordinary day, Talisi is reserved and peaceful, always with a small smile on her face as if laughing at a secret joke or amused by a turn of events. Her laughter is difficult to rouse, though that doesn't mean she doesn't appreciate humor or is overly serious. She earned her title through her battle persona, as she moves quickly and silently, Freefall aiding her in battle, with a frightening look on her face. When in battle, Talisi takes on another personality altogether. Instead of her usual, smiling self, she presents another Talisi, one with furious eyes, deeply furrowed eyebrows, and a snarl on her delicate face. She often sings softly while fighting, both to disarm opponents and encourage herself and allies to fight harder.
Parents: Her parents, Feywild natives, taught their daughter well, instilling in Talisi her protective instinct and curious nature. They continue to live in the Feywild, and Talisi has not seen them since she left home (on good terms) nearly thirty-five winters ago.
Brief History: Talisi was born in the Feywild, but eventually moved to the Prime in her youth. She was enchanted with the new cultures, peoples, and settings, and it wasn't long before she came across the Solaris. Immediately taken by its powerful color and magical properties, Talisi chose to join the White Watch in order to study the Solaris closer, though she also enjoyed the prospect of protecting the Azorithian Empire and its citizens, as well as gaining experience as a warrior.

Animal Companion: The Sky Raptor - Aderyn's companion is a falcon named Sarnor. He typically takes the shape of a peregrine falcon, but when in battle strength is needed over speed, he will adopt the form of a gyrfalcon.

Enchanted Equipment: Aderyn prizes an armor set crafted by some of her uncles. With specially created runes imprinted into the hidden inner-workings of the cloth and leather, it allows her to take another with her in her short instantaneous dashes through the fey.

Likes: Falcons, hawks, swimming, learning. Aderyn enjoys interacting with people, be it good-natured teasing, debate, or conversation.
Hates: Being hunted, cornered, or enclosed. Getting drunk (the hangovers are always awful). Those who prefer to remain in ignorance, or would ignore the truth. Yet nothing is as distasteful to her as child killers and slavers.
View on Life: Aderyn craves knowledge and stimulation. She will enjoy her own life to the fullest, what ever way pleases her.
Personality: Having grown up among humans, Aderyn is more lively and approachable than many of her race. Her nature tends to lean towards the mischievous side of things, as she is in constant need of things to keep her interest. Some would believe that that makes her childish and impatient. Despite her upbringing, she is still an Eladrin: cool, calm, collected. But only when she needs to be. Life would be boring otherwise.
Parents: Aderyn was raised by adoptive human parents, among human children. They were caring and fostered her curiosity and desire to travel. Once she was old enough she began to visit her birth parents regularly, but she still considered the humans she grew up with relatives.
Brief History: With her yellow-green eyes sparkling with mischief, she'll tell you that the story will cost you a drink. If you call for an ale she'll chuckle and wave it away, letting you know that mead is better. The eladrin will sip at the refreshment, as her lips curl into a small, satisfied smile. 'Ask your first question,' she says. So you eagerly ask about her family. Why did she grow up with humans? You rattle off a few of of the rumors you've heard around the town (she's been there for a year.) Slavers, bandits, death, revenge, love, some are truly epic tales. Aderyn merely laughs. 'Nothing nearly as interesting as that. You'll be disappointed when I finish.'

Aderyn Theron did not have a traumatic childhood. No cliched stories of scorned lovers, or desperate bandits, or even a little kidnapping. She was raised among humans because her parents wanted their daughter to be more connected to those whom she would likely spend much of her long life around. So her care was entrusted to a family friend who had joined her parents on adventures, and they raised the little girl along with their other children. The truth was never hidden from her, they were never cruel, and life was sweet and warm. Of course, eventually Aderyn grew a taste for fighting. And then for hunting. And then for wandering. At the age of adulthood, she set off into the world. She traveled and fought and learned. Finally, after many years of wandering, returning home to visit grand-nieces and nephews or the the feywild, she has come across this town.

'This is the first place I ever heard about Solaris," she says, smiling fondly into her cup. 'I thought that it was time I saw it for myself. I'll be heading there tomorrow.'

View on Life: Being a human while his brothers are somewhat more exotic them him Alexander has always felt that his meaning of being alive was proving that even if he wasn't one the more fantastic races in the land he can could still be a force to respect and fear. He has devoted most of his life to beating his brothers on the battlefield. He fills that life is for you to push past the limits of yourself and transcend beyond what others thought of you.
Personality: The prideful beast who doesn't like to be hold to a certain standard. Alexander is quiet and rather a little to serious most of the time. He has a bit of a temper when Basil happens to get one over him with a joke or when someone insults his race or his brothers for that matter. When he goes in to a rage he devastates or tries to everything in his path until someone calms him down or knocks him clean out.
Parents: Unlike his brothers who he shares the same father with his mother was another human. He was a little put off by his brothers not sharing the same mother but it didn't really appeal to him that much.
Brief History: Alexander childhood was spent mostly trying to show how great a human could be compared to his brothers who were over the top exotic with the traits of there mothers. His mother didn't see it that way. She cared for him and didn't see any inferiority in him towards his brothers but in courage d him to remain strong and never give up. He seem to take it the wrong way in sorts. He took her advice to heart and challenged anything the world threw at him. He started to get out of control by challenging his fathers guards and beating them.

He father scolded him about it and told his mother to do something about the child be she laughed it off and continued to tell him to be strong. One day when he was 15 he was out in the force with his practice sword looking for a nice sturdy tree to bash it against when he saw a large male wolf closing in on a small wolf pup. The mother laid dead not far off. Alexander charged with his practice sword out. He arrived back home much later in to the night with a bloody back and bruises covered his body but he held the pup whining pup in his arms. As he was nursed back to health the pup never left his side and named her Cerberus. As he grew his father couldn't take his vengeful pride anymore and along with his brothers shifted him out to the white Watch hopeful he could channel that pride of his at something that wouldn't cause him money.

Distinct Traits: Single, centered 'eye', compared to other Shardminds usual two.

Weapon Expertise: Hand-To-Hand / Thrown / Claymores
Arms in use: His body is his weapon.
Animal Companion: The Shark- A great sea-Leviathan which takes the form of either a Black-Tip Reef Shark or a Naga Beast. Came to the sea-faring adventurer when he proved his worth during a storm. It was the same day he joined up with the Watch.
Pet(s): He doesn't really have a pet but there is a song-bird that has taken to following him.
Magical Affinities: Electric and Psyonic
Enchanted Equipment: Fists of Stahl- One of the last gifts his Father gave to him before disappearing. Twin, enchanted bracelets that were said to be used by the Gods to move mountains. They make the wearing incredibly strong, able to lift far more than their natural body could ever muster.
Zenith often uses the bracelets in conjunction with his rock-hard and razor-sharp shard body to deliver bone crushing and deep cutting blows. It's not sure how much weight he can lift, he's never had the chance to experiment, but Zenith likes to brag that he can toss about 2 tons over his head. A good distance, to boot.

Hates: How needless his body is and how much of an outcast from both his races he is, no longer human and hardly a Shardmind. Zenith is also now terrified of the water.
View on Life: Zenith is confused as to what his purpose in life is, what his goal is. His entire life he spent taking orders from people. From the Royal Army, mostly. One fine day, he was sent to fulfill a mission, in which he failed. Now returning, he doesn't have a lot of options. Zenith's memories are shattered and it seemed he lost his place in his Father's favor. Zenith wants to return his body to the way it was, but first, he has to piece together his memories.
Personality: Before we can piece together what Zenith is today, let's first look at the man he used. Zenith was a hero, in layman's term. An elite warrior of the Royal Army. Even his name, "Zenith", means 'the top'. The best of the best. He didn't need anybody. Zenith was a lone-wolf. He was also an intellectual. A bright man, one who could grasp his studies as well as his sword. It wasn't any surprise when he was sent off on a very important mission, a mission that was so secret, most people were convinced that he went missing. Zenith awoke a schizophrenic Shardmind, one without memory. He only knows what he knows today from was written in the logbooks and journals left lying around in the most destroyed camp.
Now, as a Shardmind, his old self has been broken into as many pieces as his body is made up from. Split like rays of light traveling through a crystal prism. He's curious. Loves to learn and investigate, wants to know everything. He craves it. With his mind-wipe, he is simplistic when it comes to plans, often just walking in without thinking about it at all, be it a battle, ambush, or a trap. He's also very susceptible to reasoning. Like the golem his soul is imprinted onto, if ordered to stand and defend a position, you'll have to come back and remind him to leave or he would just continue to stand there.
His actions can be very random at times, Zenith is mostly schizophrenic voices and other personalities directing him or confusing him. With his mental state so scrambled, it's obvious that Zenith will need to pick up the pieces and restoring his mind before he can even attempt to restore his body.
Parents: His mother was an exotic girl from faraway lands. She was, to put terms simple, a pirate. A sea-faring lady, the captain's first mate. On shore leave, she met a very eccentric man. She soon fell to the swooning of Lord Emir, Zenith's soon-to-be Father. In the morning, Lord Emir found the girl to be gone, and the ship no longer docked. 9 and a half months later, Zenith was born near on the other side of the world compared to his brothers.
Brief History: Being separated from his brothers didn't mean much to Zenith at first. He was a child, and his mother didn't even know about his brothers. His mother gave up her 'career' as a pirate when he was born and settled down in a small fishing village. Zenith grew up quickly and curious. When the question came up about his father, his mother decided that she would take one last adventure across the great sea, Zenith's first adventure in the line of many. They tracked down Lord Emir and Zenith met his father, and his two brothers.

Zenith spent a lot of time around his brothers. A few months older than the two, Zenith felt like a protector for the two, always looking out for them. With his father's wishes, the three of them trained day-after-day, in preparation to join the military, the Royal Army, as most men of the Emir clan eventually did. It was a great tradition, and now that tradition was being passed down to the three Emir brothers. Their entrance exam was simple, and the three brothers soon found their specializations. Zenith, spending as much time with his nose in a book as he spent practicing with the blade, soon began his training as a Royal Arcane Knight. It wasn't long until lighting was sparking everywhere every time Zenith entered the room.
His father passed down a special mission onto his eldest son, the dossier was so secret, only he and his father have ever read it. To this day, he only remembers that he was looking for some relic. Zenith spent two months on open sea, following maps and rumors until he found what he was searching for, some forgotten, pagan temple. But this, my friends, is where the details grow dim. Something went wrong. Zenith was dying from a massive wound he sustained in the temple. TO make matters worse, what ever gave him the wound had followed him out of the temple. With Zenith dying, there was only one choice. A Shardmind in the ship's crew gave him all of his life force, and taught the other members of the crew a ritual. To infuse the two beings into one. When he awoke next, he was lying in the middle of the destroyed base-camp, alone, in his new crystalline body.
Three months later, five months since he disappeared, Zenith is on the shores of Azorith, now searching for his brothers.
