i wanted to try something a little different this time and picked a background
you can just use it as a backdrop for an avi you have complete freedom to build on or you can do a scenic
i thought it would be fun to have both options available

i'm not super familiar with how well it plays with layering, tho i did try a few more things and it seemed to hold up fine and allow light and other foreground layers on top, so apologies in advance if i turn out to be very wrong and it's actually hell to build around sweatdrop hehe

Sadly I don't have this background (I have 90% of all backgrounds Gaia offers) and it's pretty expensive so I'll have to sit this one out.

I did manage to procure one of these a while back for a project but haven't made much use of it since. Decided to try a Sky Child background cutter route (dress) and one trying to work with the background but the kelpie's tail gets so obscured by the avatar's torso that it's easier to just use as a regular horse.

I'm not one for background items so this is a nice challenge~

I'm sitting out this one as I don't have the item and it's quite expensive. Figures she'd choose a background that is fairly new and limited release; I literally have almost a thousand background poses, just not that one, lol. I can pretty much work with any background.

Thanks. this is not the worst birthday I've had, but it's definitely one for the books. To quote from my journal:

Just my husband's car while we were in it, stranding us, I lost my very special chiropractor to serious health issues--she may return eventually or retire and my physical therapist as my HMO won't pay for full recovery, just enough to mostly function. I am supposed to have one followup appt. in Nov. It occurred to me later as we were waiting for the tow truck that her work is not done, not even by the HMO standards because I am not driving yet. Range of motion for that is almost there. This on top of still dealing with the fallout of getting our checking account broken into.

After we finally got home exhausted we went out to dinner and the new Mexican place we found did not disappoint so that was very nice at least.

Maybe too I'll still get to see the aurora tonight if light pollution isn't too bad in front of my house and the clouds remain thin enough. And if it reaches this far south, but it looks like it will, if very faintly. I've never seen it.

I've just been using invo+search,
then I save a look to upload it somewhere else to share here.
mostly bc I tend to use items outside of my invo though lol.
maybe someone who has it could lend it to you briefly so you can save it to your gallery like usual.

I've not lucked out lately on others having a copy to loan me. Oh well; there are other contests going on. I don't know if you saw when I posted, but Takeover Tues is back after the person holding the contest was gone for a few years. It's a really fun one you'll want to check out.

Perhaps as you use them more, you'll find you can't do without them. So many possibilities using them and layering them for interesting effects.

It really did, one unpleasant shock after the next in a very short time. The aurora did show but we couldn't see it from our house so didn't find out until today that it did. It was quite faint and there were some clouds plus light pollution. So the hope I'll get to see it one day goes on.

I can lend Boardwalk Attractions if you'd like. Gaia Gatcha and Narwheel tems can be tricky as they're generally not re-released outside of the entire Gatcha/Narwheel being released.
