I want to like it, but my opinion is it shouldn't be butter yellow but either a tad lighter yellow or darker. All the yellows I have are either lighter yellow than butter or darker oranger yellow. I think the light one would look cute. I went ahead with an oranger ones that was close to butter yellow. I

I don't have a lot of Parliament stuffs.... or butter. Most of the butter stuff is with pink (pink lemonade), so it's all meh. My current avvie is my favorite of the three I made.

Vintage is its own color of light gold.
Parliament is the color combo of dusk grey and butter yellow.
If you want to compare vintage and butter, butter is a bright yellow and vintage is soft dull gold that tips into brown/copper a bit. In my opinion at least.

If you mean 'Vintage' as in "Catharsis", Catharsis doesn't have dusk grey in it. Catharsis is Vintage gold, offblack and ivory/offwhite. Parliament is butter yellow (a little lighter than the gold and less brown, more 'true' yellow), dusk grey, offblack and ivory/offwhite.

Found a hair that had both colours in it to give a visual comparison (note: that the hair isn't parliament it's just butter) <3

Parliament primarily bothers me because it's called parliament. Parliament is for government. Yellow is for happy. These things are not like thing. On a design point, the shade of grey reminds me too much of the aptly named Concrete Jungle. Grey+offchrome is cold and lifeless, yellow is joy and life. Mixing those colours in my mind creates a problem when the avatar doesn't acknowledge the emotional triggers of the scheme.
