I prefer the cream/white, sable paring with robin rather than white, dusk grey. The grey makes the scheme look very cold, while the warmth of the cream and sable brings it to life. It's probably part of the reason why I like Royal Icing more, and perhaps why it's had more traction. Royal Icing takes the idea of robin and brings out the shine of a light blue. By contrast, robin with grey feels very plastic – highlighting that the light blue is rather desaturated, so cold and grey.

Just wanted to let you know, that the Robin Blue + Dusk Grey is specifically named Robin Egg. I know this because an artist answered my question about it when I first saw the name appear.

This blue is one of the only ones I'll buy (along with independence, denim and wintermint) but I don't really think of it as a "scheme"... any other colors with it are usually very downplayed neutral accents. I like the items that have cream with it. Anyway, it's a nice blue. It always reminds me of the old angelic stuff. I like it a lot more than oxford/royal icing even though they're pretty similar.

I made an avatar to have a contribution, but it's not great. Most of my avatars don't turn out the same scheme I started with anyway..

I really like Robin. Hard to go wrong with light blue.
It's nice to have a variety of items to use, since so many exist already, even if they all aren't specifically labeled robin.

honestly robin blue with white or off white is boring, i would probably match it with other colors to give it that pop like light green or lavender

AW YEAH robin blue is one of my fave shades of blue, tied with bold bubblegum blue and cotton candy blue. emotion_kirakira

I love this scheme, moreso with the grey. As always I can't just do the hair the same colour...I need a little contrast.

As a note, the vega Item I'm wearing 2 of is super cheap but it's still an amazing item and one of my favourite backgrounds.
