Really now? O.o I never heard that. That sucks! :O I kinda want to make my own joint shop but I know no artists besides like... 1 friend.

The more artists you have, the better it seems to work. My best friend in real life - and the person I learned to draw from - Aquafena, she and I started a shop... but with just two of us, and more time talking over the phone than on the forum, it flopped pretty easily. That's when I invited her to join Arc En Ciel with us.
During our slow times, we DO invest in bumpers, too, we've hired two of them. Usually they count how many bumps they've done in their post, so they're not posting the same thing over and over and can avoid that problem. They're REALLY cheap, too, the two I hired worked for 2g/bump, so I got out with 1000 bumps between the two of them for only 2000 gold, and DID see an increase in customers.

I use to request lots of arts so it became a bit standerd to send it directly
Also much easier for me since im ordering lots of arts for this Oc and keep hopping around like a bunny in season.
