Alan and Aedan Flynn are twin brothers. They're Irishmen who left their homeland for America as young adults. Both are mutants; Alan is gifted with telekinesis, while Aedan has the ability to manipulate cellular matter to either heal or destroy living things. Alan owns a night club/bar called The Rose, and Aedan is a doctor. True to Irish form, they have a distinct appreciation for alcohol. They're vegetarians, and both love music and dancing.

Beyond that, they live largely separate lives. Alan is both creative and intellectual. He loves to paint and write, and he's great with numbers. He's the one who manages all the twins' finances. Of the two of them, Alan is calmer; more often than not he's having to talk people out of smacking Aedan around. He's a bit shy at first, but when he warms up to a person he'll talk quite a bit. Still, he is definitely not a person to anger. Although he can keep his head pretty well, God help the poor soul who DOES piss him off. To calm down, he likes to care for his roses.

Aedan is much more hot-headed. It doesn't take much to make him fly off the handle. Partly, the problem is that he's so sincere, and he gets so involved in things... He's quite emotional. Alan teases him sometimes about being a crybaby. Partly, he's just brash. Aedan is loud and obnoxious. He loves drinking, football, soccer and annoying people. He's cocky and flirtatious, but beneath it all he's quite sweet. At the clinic, he's the doctor who usually takes care of the pediatric patients.

Standard style for them is jeans. Alan tends to look a little more put-together than Aedan does. He makes a point of it, especially on busy nights at the bar. He wants to be clear, based on his presentation, that he's in charge around there. Aedan tends to be more casual, despite his more "professional" career choice. He has no qualms with wearing jeans and a T-shirt under that white coat of his.

They're not a couple, just brothers. As twins, they are unnaturally close, in the sense that they KNOW what the other is thinking or doing or feeling, but the relationship ends at twin-ness. Aedan is disgustingly heterosexual, and Alan is... at least less disgusting about his preference for ladies.

I don't have anything specific in mind; I could easily see a shot of them as though they were posing for a photograph, with Aedan's arm around Alan's shoulders, both of them with a beer in one hand or something. At the same time, I adore pictures that turn out looking like candid shots.

That said, I'm perfectly alright with leaving the actual picture to you. The two of them were inspired by The Boondock Saints, so if you've seen that, think Murph (Aedan) and Connor (Alan). Of course, if you haven't... well, hopefully their personalities will help. I trust you to create a good piece of them. You're the artist; you know what you're doing. I'm just excited to see what you come up with. biggrin heart Thank you for this!
