Artist's Status
I am really sorry for my long absence, and really I just apologize for the whole art-shop-exploding-thing but as of now I'm closing this shop. There are a lot of factors going into this, but the main one is I just don't have time for gaia anymore. Which is said, but the truth. I have canceled all trades, and I apologize. If I ever open this shop again I'll contact those that are left on the waiting list to see if they want free art. But as of now, good bye.

About This Little Shop:
This shop was opened purely because I have always wanted an art shop that wasn't just a quickie (as we adults know quickies are never as much fun ;D ) so this was finally done. I haven't ever had a shop that I kept up, so help me in my quest to make this one long lasting and hopefully popular! I want this to be a happy, friendly, and over all fun environment for customers, bumpers, and staff alike! If you have any questions about the shop, or possibly joining my staff or even being a co-artist just PM me and title it appropriately. I also don't want this shop to be intimidating like a lot of others are, so things will be kept to short and sweet (where possible) because size shouldn't always matter. :3


About The Artist Mthica (me!):

Alright! Time to talk about me! Well as you can probably tell I'm an artist, otherwise this art shop wouldn't be something I've wanted to do. I'll just tell you a bit about myself, so we can get all acquainted and such.
-I am a Freshman in college
-I am studying to become an art teacher
-I have been drawing all my life, mostly traditional art though
-I love anime, manga, otakus, cosplaying, and fangirling
-I sometimes procrastinate lots of things
-I love Legend of Zelda, and RPG video games in general
-I am taken (sorry! XP)
-I LOVE to roleplay, if you want to roleplay hit me up.
-I'm a usually nice person, unless you annoy me then I'm not too nice.
-I love any form of lolita clothing. I also love drawing it!
-I LOVE horror films!
-I am blonde, 5ft 7in, I weigh around 140lbs, I have blue eyes, I am pale, and I'm an amazingly paranoid person.

Artistic Aspects of Myself:
-I draw Traditional/Realism with Watercolors, and Graphite.
-I do Anime/Manga style (chibis, scribbly chibis, and regular) I do them in digital, ink, and graphite. Sometimes I'll use markers.
-I have been doing this for awhile.

Head of making my life happy and overlord of thread: Tranzendental Trumpet Man
Here is a bit about this amazing guy here! I might be biased about him, but I don't care, in this thread my opinion rules. He is one of the smartest people I know, and he is extremely supportive of me and has been that way since the day I met him. So of course I figured there was no one better to help me run this thread. (He is also constantly on gaia, working the markets... bonus!)
-He is taken, by me! (I don't share D: )
-He is technically a freshman in college, but because he is a genius he is a sophomore.
-He is going to the 3rd best engineering college in the US.
-He is a newb when it comes to anime and manga
-He does play SOME video games
-He plays the trumpet, and is in a very fanciful marching band
-He wants to be an aeronautical engineer, and is in school to be one (duh?)

Canceling an Order
-PM me with 'Canceling Order' in the headline

-NOTICE: if you already have a line art drawn then you will have to pay the price for a line art. Example. You ordered a full body and full color work for 30k and when you decide to cancel your order a Line art was drawn and posted on the list. You must therefore pay 20k. (which is the price for a full body line art)

Slots and Status of Ordered Art
(Also an explanation of my art-process-stuff)

I figured by now people might like to know my process of going about getting art done for all of you pretty people. So here it is:
Step one is I sketch. I go through anywhere from 2-6 pieces of paper, and I just try to work out the pose, and basic details of the art.
Step two I make the final sketch, which is a sketch with all the details, and everything worked out.
Step three I trace the final sketch to create the line art. I make the lines thicker, darker, and cleaner in this step so that minimal digital clean up is necessary after I scan it.
Step four I scan in the image and work with it a little in photoshop, and then the line art is done.
Step five I color the art which can take anywhere from 1-4 hours depending on the art and my mood.

What I do is I make line arts for the first half of my filled slots. (example: 10 slots filled, I do the first 5 requests of line art at one time.) This way I'm not completely overwhelmed, and my brain just works that way. Then I complete those art requests and continue down the list, making the next half their line arts and then coloring them. It makes it easier on me.

Saturday, November 14th: Art Process updated, and traditional art samples added.

XP ) She is shy at first, but after she gets comfortable around you she is wacky, and fun to be around. Clumsy and easily scared Zane constantly pulls pranks on her. About Him: He is a very shy gentleman. He however can make any piece of clothing. He is terrified of women, and any relationship with them. Though he is polite always he avoids women at all costs. He has long held a crush for Jiggy, and so he makes sure to try and keep her out of harms way (which is quite the task) and he gets very upset when Zane makes advances towards Jiggy, though he doesn't do anything about it. He is innocent, sweet, and a classic gentleman.

About Him: Zane is very perverted, and very touchy-feely. He is a bit of a womanizer, and being a seductive vampire he usually gets the girl he wants. Unfortunately for him he has finally bumped into one girl that doesn't fall under his 'spell' that easily. Jiggy constantly avoids Zane out of fear, because he usually flaunts the fact he is a vampire. Not only is he physically attracted to Jiggy and her odd personality, but he is drawn to her blood type. So he'll constantly set up traps for her to fall into so that he can try to woo/bite her. Zane and Demetrious usually avoid each other because they butt heads. Their personalities are so different that when put together it gets rather explosive, and well... they are brothers.
