lol well I kinda got blinded as soon as I saw 'Victorian' and completely ignored all the other themes
but thinking about it last night before I went to sleep, i'm really not familiar with drawing Victorian fashion.....like frills....and all the ornate-ness
so I'm probs gonna pick a different theme only because one of the themes already matches and idea I already had for some art
lol that totally works too!
But re: not being familiar with Victorian fashion: that's actually something the Event themes are designed to fix. In the future, if there is a theme that interests you but you aren't familiar with it, I encourage you to google image search and do a sketch or two. Basically, become more familiar with it! Try a few different ways of drawing frills and see what works for you! Doing studies helps you grow as an artist, and studies tend to be less time-consuming than full illustrations.
The first few days of the Event I think people should just draw whatever they want, but I will totally become an art teacher as time goes on. Or, at least an art assignment-giver. XD
