Comments: I designed this in honor of a magical family friend who passed away last night. He was a creative person, and while in recent years we have moved apart, we will always remember him. I feel that this theme truly fit his spirit, which inspired this angelesque design.
In lesser news, I fixed my tablet just in time for this piece. smile
Man, this is gorgeous!
And glad you were able to fix your tablet in time!! ;D
What was wrong with it??
i suppose, i have been expecting more improvement in one go. and i
would love to get critique on anatomy and such, tho i worry when i can
get back to modifying said images xD; like, i'd draw it, and ask for
critique, but worry i may never get around to going back to fixing and
incorporating said critique.
i guess i worry, even on the every ten days re-work on a piece, i won't
have the time to put in a good effort to making something i can be happy

Well, getting critiques on a certain drawing is less about going back to that particular drawing and fixing it. It's more of understanding the issue and being able to identify it better in your future drawing. You're bound to draw something similar.
Like say, you drew the arm too long, then next time you're drawing an arm, you're checking to see if it's too long/short~ each piece you draw, each critique you get, it's to put to test in your next drawing. Life is too short to keep going back and fixing something you already did your best on. You can only improve, so instead of fixing an old piece. I would say, work on something new, learn something new, and then when you're ready, re-draw and show off what you've learned~
It's embarrassing to show my old work because of how fugly they are, but at the same time, it's where I came from. Man, I still hate everything on this drawing xD;; I hate drawing traditionally LOL! I get so worked up on sketching lightly and for this particular one, trying to make a video of it, that proportion got thrown out the window rofl
That's odd, I haven't changed anything. o.o It's still there.
Here's a link:

It shows up now rofl
I guess it will have an on and off appearance then? xD;;
Thank you for clearing this up~ heart
I already marked it as drawn, but it would be sad if someone went into your thread and doesn't get to admire all of your work!! Glad to know it's not deleted or something~
It seems you're not the only one who has had this problem, seems some other people couldn't see all my drawings either. D: I don't know what to do different. There are also some drawings by other people I can't see but it seems to be only me who can't see them.
Yeah, I think it's a Gaia thing right now.... images are wonky.
They are in the middle of moving servers -- more secure server.
On my main account, I couldn't see ANY images, everything was User Image.
Now it's fixed, but when I quote people, it adds something to the code, which makes the image disappear because the code is different.
Give it some time, it's not your fault.
I can see all your images in your thread............ ninja
Yeah, I thought it must be gaia that's doing something. xD I guess we just have to wait for it to be completely fixed then. :3
what is the policy on WIPs? like, I have been turning in everything on time, but there are a few pieces that I wanted to turn digital and only got halfway done (day one and yesterday). So, the submission is in but the 'extra' step is still in process. I will most likely be finishing them on the 'finish/improve a piece' days, but do they get added to their corresponding days as well, or do they just count for the finish/improve day that I finished it on?
I guess this has more to do with me not wanting my crappy sketches prioritized over their digitally finished counterparts sweatdrop
Feel free to add a link under the sketch to the finished version's post when you hit the Finish/Improve day. If you aren't using the art for a Finish/Improve day (like if you only needed another 20 minutes and were just posting a placeholder), you can edit in the finished piece under the submission.
If I am looking for great examples of someone's work, the first place I check is all the Finish/Improve days!
There will be days you just hit an artistic wall and have to post something you hate and never want to see it again. No one will judge you because we have aaaaallllll been there. One day, I slammed my finger of my dominant hand in a door and could barely hold a pencil. With my non-dominant hand, I drew the worst puppy ever drawn and posted it. XD

Not sure if this was answered in the way I understood the question.
For example, if you improved a drawing on Day 10, it will be posted as Day 10.
In the comment, feel free to tell us what day you were continuing from.
Hopefully this helps along with Shev's information~ heart
crap Chii, now you just confused me
so..... I understand if I improve/finish a drawing on day 10, I post it for day 10
now here's where you two just confused me
example: On day 10 I will be finishing Day 1's digital art. I currently have a WIP in Day 1's post (along with the sketch that I submitted as the submission piece). When I am done with the 'finished piece' for day 10, other than submitting the art for day 10, do I just comment in my day 10 post that it was originally day 1's piece, go back to day 1's post and replace the WIP with a link to the finished piece, or both?
Comments: spent a lot of time today being indecisive of what to draw... then i lost interest/gave up halfway.
bonus content (redraw of day 1) from yesterday:

Oops, ok, hold on.
For your Day 1 submission, if you choose to color it on Day 10 and finish it on Day 10, then you should post it for Day 10. And you can leave your Day 1 post alone.
Most people would continue scrolling through your art, so they will see the improved/finished piece on your Day 10 post~
I like the idea that you leave the WIP on Day 1 the way it is and then just have the finished product in Day 10. 3nodding WIPs are a work of art as well~
