Oh no, it's not really Europe that's being Americanized, it's Japan. But with how isolated Japan was for years, it's actually a good thing they're finally being exposed to others. Yeah, in most situations a nod is fine but if you see other people bowing, do the same. One thing I've never been able to get rid of, when someone holds the door open for me, I nod my head and say thanks. xd

LOL! I like walking around with Tessa laid across my shoulders and calling her my boa. She'll stay there for quite some time too, she's not scared that I'll drop her like she is with other people.

Isn't it?! I squealed and jumped around when I first saw it. <3 I can do realism with pencil but not not digital. I might be able to if I had a tablet but with my touchpad it's way too difficult to evne try.

I love art...but I hated all of the art classes I've taken. xd I didn't feel like the teacher was helping me to improve. More like trying to change my style to be the same as theirs. There's a difference between improvement and changing your work entirely, ya know?

Yeah, that's why I think threads like Art Critique are really nice. It isn't people telling you to change to their style or fail, it's people giving you specific tips with the sole purpose of helping you. It's a completely different environment. smile

Ooooh, Skype is nice~ <3 I've tried to get my parents to use but they won't. My brother I use it though so every once in a while one of them will walk behind him and I'll be like, "I SEE YOU!" lol

Exactly! I can't stand people like that. I'm not saying you need to be self-deprecating about your work, but having a little bit of humility with your work never hurt!

I have really vivid dreams and a lot of control over them so I love sleeping. =,D If I could someone live in my dreams...oh my god that would be amazing. 8O
