Astra had just made her way to what seemed to be the central hub of the city when she saw an explosion. Her cold blue eyes fixated immediately on the source of the outburst, not he outburst itself. With the barest, smallest tinge of an amused smile she loosened her sword in its sheith across her back and walked towards the man with the flecked white and brown hair. No matter where she went it seemed there was always some douche or other throwing his weight around.
Astra could sense he had power, but from her there was not a feeling either way. If anyone could sense her energy it was a contained and controlled feeling, not a shroud or hidden power per-say, just something that was complex and not easily understood. What she was capable of would be unclear. Astra actually had very little idea of what she was capable of herself. This fact also was unknown to her.
To all appearances she was a very beautiful human. Too beautiful. This lay in the fact that she was actually an elf. However her ears did not betray this lineage. The telling, elongated, pointed, and curved ear tips had been meticulously shaved off. It was something someone couldn't notice unless they were kissing distance away from her. Though the only men she let that close were about to get the kiss of death or a knee to the crotch. The latter the most favored. Men were dirty and disgusting to her. She would only touch one to fulfill her occasional need, and in order to do that she had to be somewhat inebriated.
The unusually tall woman with the straight, pitch black hair stood out amongst the fleeing crowd for the fact she was coming towards him and that she was armed, armored and dangerous looking. She stopped within talking distance. Close enough to show no fear, but far enough that she wouldn't have to smell him.
Astra didn't say anything to the man. She just stood proud and strong, and even though she wore her usual expression her riveting blue eyes seemed to be looking down at him. As though she was judging him to be less than her on a subconscious level. And perhaps she was.
