Oh I doubt he'd recognize her. He wasn't in the thick of things and after healing Laresh he was unconscious and blinded. Though if he caught sight of her he might be suspicious and loiter around the inn just to make sure she wouldn't cause trouble...
Edit: What exactly is Sadye again? Dun feel like looking it up.
She's a tiefling. So basically one of her grandparents on her father's side was a full blooded demon.
You're fine. Both demons and their offspring are part of the natural order of things - they're balanced, they have a purpose and a position in the world. Seist is more concerned with the things that are against the natural order, the things that exist only because a mage has imposed their will upon the fabric of reality. In Seist's world, there's this foundation to magic called the Blessed Path and it keeps everything together, like the foundation of a house or the weave of a tapestry. It governs life and death and birth and existence and all things like that. When a mage does something that goes against that natural order, like raising the dead, it punches a hole in that foundation and someone has to keep it from getting worse. While Seist doesn't deal directly with the Path he still works to keep it intact. In fact, he doesn't even really know about the Path. He just follows the commandments of his deities, which happens to fall in line with protecting the Path among other things. Magic that alters another person without their consent is a sin, magic that messes with someone's mind is a sin, magic that prevents a natural death (death by violence doesn't count) is a sin... on and on. It can get really gray at some points - is using magic to prevent someone dying from disease a sin? Depends. Seist has made a lot of judgement calls on that one. But magic that keeps someone alive when they really, really should be dead? Definitely against the laws he follows.
He's actually deeply disturbed by his being alive at this moment. He's just not sure what he can do about it.
