Time to get to work...
Variable smirked to herself, and her ice cream, as she worked on finishing the delicious snack. The plane of dumb luck was truly lucky, as she didn't expect to find such a treat in the odd realm. But she had places to be, people to meet... Outsiders were beginning to whisper, about the factions, and information was starting to spread -- all part of the plan.
So, all she had to whisper was one little question, to get others to think.
"So. Who's side are you taking?"

But she had places to be, people to meet... Outsiders were beginning to whisper, about the factions, and information was starting to spread -- all part of the plan.

Type up a false and brief (250 words or less) RP-entry from the point-of-view of your character, as they are faced with this choice, explaining it to Variable in a private meeting. They could be in a back alley, a bar, a store, wherever. Details don't matter, the answer does.
Please, quote me when you post it in the thread so I can find it easier, and randomize a number between 1 and 100 if you want a second chance at a prize.
PRIZES
One 'Best Of' winner from all the entries will receive 500k from Kimaya, one piece of actual art from me (such as [X]), and one dolly-flob-thing (see below).
Every faction that gets five or more entries will get one winner per faction. Every faction with four or less entries will be combined into a single category and a winner will be picked from them.
Bonus prize goes to whoever gets closer to my random roll when I announce the winners, besides anyone that's already won for a different prize.

I feel my interests lie with the Dragons, if they are any similar to those at home. To have the races be equal, no matter how we got here - isn't that for the best?"
The Archmage paused, gathering her thoughts. She wanted to respond carefully, as she had little knowledge of the other's stance on things. "Those who have suffered one of the greatest losses a sentient being can feel - the loss of our very own life - are treated as lesser than those born here. And we Outsiders have been given a second chance, a... a rebirth of sorts. Why should that make us any less of a being?"
"So. The Dragons have the support of Archmage Zarael, if they would accept it, and I plan on using my power to ensure progress is made while I'm here. A range of mental magics are quite useful, as not all disputes can be solved with violence, wouldn't you agree?" A gentle smile from the elf-like woman as she turned to move away. "Anyways, you seem weary of listening to me ramble. I plan on offering other Outsiders help, so if you need anything, please, feel free to find me."

If the logic lined up in her mind, Variable would be more than happy to go around biting people to see how they compare in taste. If only to freak people out (and actually see how they taste).Other than her, I have a couple minor characters that may be openly hostile, but no one I'd want to pull out here xD

especially when he doesn’t have anyone with him.
As a D&D-type character he’s used to the violence being a group effort. blaugh

Ignoring the celestial’s retort Avery continued on the path aware of the footsteps behind catching him up. At the celestial’s touch Avery dropped his shoulder as he spun to face him dagger once more in hand, though this time held in his off hand as his right hovered above his sword hilt. Avery stood firm as the celestial took his measure, his only tell a reservedly cool gaze.
At the celestial’s awkward words Avery relaxed lowering his hands, but not yet tucking away his dagger. Hearing the celestial out fully before replying. “You know where here is then?” he asked hopefully.
Not wanting to start up another debate Avery held back his thoughts that if he truly were dead the chances of his resurrection were quite high, his and Sen’s families being who they were; royalty both and Sen’s divine lineage. Still if he were to continue on with the celestial best clear things up, “You have offered me no rebuttal to my pain and blood, nor to my corporeal touch. Why then are you so insistent that I am dead?”
Undecided as yet on which name to offer up Avery held off on giving either.
((Avery’s not quite there yet (name exchange), sorry ^^; If Reed’s paying attention he may notice that this is a different dagger from the one before.))
