I'm thinking on pushing back the scheduled rp maybe an hour or two? Or just post it up and let it continue till it has more activity......

There is currency but Outsiders do not have to pay for their food and shelter at the Worldspanner's Inn, and many things are provided for them free of charge (by the Lady). But, if an Outsider wants to begin moving out of their small world and into other things they will need the coin of Cerxes. We'll say its some diamond shaped flat piece of elemental magic - ranging in value depending on the element and the strength in it.

Thanks! It helps a lot. But, assuming the newcomer doesn't arrive at Fortress Cerxes, and arrives outside of it somewhere, what are the chances that others will notice that they are, and will guide the newcomer to the right resources?

In his mind, he had always considered himself a mere solider - in a special department but a soldier, nonetheless. He put the coin in the register, clicked his tongue, and waved goodbye to Seist with his empty hand and a foppish grin. "Drop by again. I'll be glad to take your money, anytime."

He turned back to Silvea and shuffled the remaining cards, "Such strong, prying words from a young woman. It's quite unbecoming of you. Do you fancy a game, as well?"

He laid out three cards and undid his bandages - visual proof to the girl that he had nothing up his sleeve other than twisted scar tissue. "All you need is a single coin. Win, and you get your pick of the house. Lose, and you tell me a story."

He knew that she had obviously seen his dealings, so his sleight of hand might not be as effective. But a coin was a small price to pay for information.
