Continuing to move away, Shun glanced back, finally able to see where the dragon that was doing all the roaring was now. Well, he supposed it was a good thing it came by to break up the chaos rather than adding to it. Then again, if he had truly died to get here as that red demon suggested, would it have really mattered? Some things were better off untested.

Turning back around, he finally went ahead and put his weapons away, practically walking into a heavily bandaged man in the process. There were a couple others around him, including one guy who appeared to be wounded, as well a light haired girl.

Danique frowned... it didn't seem possible she could forget a man with wings. But perhaps he had not had wings when she knew him. She was sure he was familiar to her. His words made her wonder if she was wrong though.

"I... ah, no." Although she did indeed have much to do with Dragons, that was back on Dalkania... here, she was alone and had not much to do with anything. Until recently... "I don't know about the Machina or their devices. I think that Dragon is on the Peace here though. Did you just arrive?"

Sometimes being off in the corner is what your character would do tho smile and you are here! Anyone who RPs anything, even just watching the scheduled RP, gets in.

Well, in this world, there were a lot of folks with wings. He didn't stand out much compared to the constant ebb and flow of angels, demons, fallen angels, and other whatnot that blew in and out of this place.

"I suppose I've been here for awhile." He fiddled with the mask at his side and wondered how long it had actually been. Fully aware he was deceased, he didn't bother keeping track of time anymore.

He pointed at the man with the stab wound in his leg, "if the dragons are peacekeepers, they don't seem to be doing a very good job."

"Dal'kania, though - now that does sound familiar, indeed." He bowed - probably a little condescending - but whatever. "Rivek Ailinar, at your service, milady. Former underpaid, covert government agent in life, and now ascerbic, messenger boy in death. Still underpaid."

He nodded, "Now, I am firstly beholden to a certain employing deity, but that doesn't mean I don't take a minor contract or two on the side."

She could certainly agree about the Peace not doing a good job. Sometimes they even made it worse. The things she had seen in Cerxes were shocking, really. It was sometimes amazing that the society continued to thrive. Or continued at all....

She watched the young man who had almost run into them turn and head off. Curious, her eyes followed him as he moved away. So many new Outsiders... she wondered if she knew him as well.

"You do know of Dalkania... I thought you looked familiar." So she did know him... but the name Rivek was strange - her past life was hazy really at best, besides the last of it. She wondered how he had come by his wings. Suddenly she realized what his last words had been and she raised her eyebrows in surprise. "A contract?"

Luckily, it seemed that the near collision went unnoticed. Shun didn't really care for another brawl to break out over little things again. He overheard something about the dragons being the peacekeepers, which had him pausing for the moment. The mentioning of contracts had caught his attention as well. Glancing to the small group briefly, he soon just went on his way. Perhaps it'd be good if he could locate some sort of tavern where he could just sit and relax for awhile.

It had been a pretty crazy day and all.
