This is a re-design for a Breedable Shop that I couldn't ever do since I didn't have an RP manager.

This is technically a post-mortem-in-canon version of Rivek - so there's not much room for character evolution.

In his canon, when people die they die and that's it.

But in the religion he canonically believes in, people who have unfinished business or were Really Awesome at Life get an extra chance to be messengers for the Death God. They have to earn back their physical form - hence Riv's scarred up limbs - by saving souls. Maybe he'll be patched up by the end of this RP.

They have to wear a bone mask to appear in front of the living. Since if a living person knows a death messenger's face, they become immortal. Luckily everyone in this RP is already dead.))

At this point, Shun had lost track of where he had heard the cries of help. Whoever it was, they must have succumbed to whatever was going on. So much for that. Shaking his head to himself, he glanced back. There wasn't much he could see, but there was a sort of dark bubble out in the middle of the crowd. Something was also causing some more panic from the looks of things.

In any case, he figured that it'd be best if he got away from the area.

Engulfed in a ball of darkness. Wow, that's a pretty awful way to go. Although he thought the T'narling was being rather brash. He figured he would lay low and not bother with the dragon. He didn't know much about them, but if they were like any other animal - or reasonable people - if you didn't bother them, they wouldn't eat you.

Unfortunately, signing a deal with a death god meant you actually did have to look after people.

He looked over and saw a man on the ground with a bleeding leg who looked absolutely bewildered. He unwrapped some of the bandaging around his upper arm and gave it to the stranger. It was still clean - he used them to hide his scars, not for any practical purpose. This guy could use it more than he could. He was dead already.

"I think you could use this."

Laresh watched as his men managed to begin subduing the rioters - things had quieted down now that the leader was sort of in a bit of a bind. The dark globe rolled along causing panic and fear... fortunately this had the affect of causing people to flee the scene or run indoors. Good.

Xalite finally was able to land after finding a space that had cleared out, setting his hind legs down with a crash. He made a grab for the darkness and Laresh winced as he wondered if whatever came out would be whole. The dark globe disappated when the Dragon's claw stretched within it, the magical resistance breaking the spell. The leader was captured - and alive too. Laresh exhaled.

Now to set the rest of this to right. He saw that his men had been to some extremes subduing some of the people... it was unfortunate but necessary, it seemed.

He really wanted to know who had managed that spell. Any bits of information would be useful when writing his report. Behind him, Xalite kept roaring - it was annoying but necessary. Particularly so because it reminded him how much they relied on Dragons with some Outsiders and keeping the peace. Grimacing he set about to finish up the task for today.
