Tipsy Werewolf

geeky convos are indeed the best, but they must be pursued by people with the same interest or you will get the similar treatment online as you did irl with that woman in the bus. :'D

I am sad i missed out on the drinking talk earlier. I blame my isp >_>; emo

But geeky conversations are the best conversations! My ex and I once tried to poll people on the issue of "Wilde or Freud," with no further explanation on the purpose or intent behind the question (who would win in a fight, which is better, who was more depraved, etc). Turns out polling people in real life doesn't actually turn out that well! We managed to ask some employees in a toy store, but there were an even number of them and they voted opposite each other, so to break the tie I asked a woman on the bus.

She gave me a funny look and then shook her head and kind of moved away.

WIlde is prettier.

HURRHURR.
Shiro Nishida, haha so true! Fortunately for myself, I'm a very interested person, and so most conversations satisfy me.

Grace, I said Wilde too! Though mainly because the foreword to Dorian Gray still cracks me up to this day.

3 chibis and 1 watercolor bust and then I'm done sketching all these out...

I took a marathon art trade session - 20 pics. FFFFFFFFFffffffffffff.
You are so close! 20, holy cow, that's a lot. I been working on squiggly commissions, of which I have a decent number right now. Which is good. Money is good, but the distraction from replaying Dragon Age is arrrrrr.

Eloquent Raider

Yeah, these atre just the base sketches, though. Ineed to sketch six, color one, ink and color three, and then line the rest....

:F

Hahhahahahha. Money ----> Dragon Age II. ;D

Dapper Lunatic

Well, I had a bid, that was 1/3 too short. Drats, however, pretty happy the auction went up. So I shall bump a bit instead!
Oh dude I am so hyped for Dragon Age 2, like I'm having a hard time finding the words, here.

Lots of drawing! I hope you have good subjects, good subjects be important. Squiggles, I had the opportunity to do a stick person horse recently. It looks pretty amazing, though I may still change the way the legs taper or make his body more .... boxey.

Eloquent Raider

*hugs Norkio* We couldn't have done it without yooou. <3 Lotta peopel are giving freebies, though.

Clocktock - I love the designs for Dragon Age, but I've never actually played it. It kinda came out during this like year of my life I was holed up doing senior thesis, Haha.

The subjects are pretty good. I have a few anthros which is a nice mix, and I just LOVE the stories for some of these guys. And I also got asked for some TF2 characters which is a really nice stretch for my style.

In the end, some of the anatomy got wonky cuz I started rushing. FFFff.

LOL I LOVE YOUR STICK HORSE. biggrin <3 spindly little LEGS. HAHAHA <3

THERE. All 20 sketches done. @________@

These are only prelims though. OTL.
Aaa thank you! heart

You should check out Dragon Age when you have some free time to yourself. Such a fun game, has all the tactical combat goodies from old school Bioware RPGs (Baldur's Gate, PS Torment, etc) but sweet voice acting and -- the setting! Oh, the setting, I could talk forever about the setting. They broke away from WoTC's vice grip of licensing death and made their own world, which ended up being an extremely cool one ifImaysay. Fantastic, fingertip-kiss, smooching sound effects, etc.

The characters are a lot of fun. The secret, apparently, to getting mainstream ladies into gaming is to offer romance options, which Dragon Age has in spades. 1 option unique to each gender, and then 2 bisexual characters you can romance. Most women, apparently, are totally all over Alistair, who is okay I guess, he could be a worse character, but he is far from being the best one, and I am too busy fawning over Zevran to really pay attention to him.

ANYWAY. The romance is all well and good, but I would say my #1 guilty pleasure of the game is ... when you're running around areas, your companions will talk to each other, and these conversations are so, so funny. Some people I just put in my party just so I can hear them say awesome and hilarious things. Mmmm.

ANYWAY #2, Dragon Age is down to $30 on Steam, which includes $15 worth of DLC. They, uh, to combat used game sales they took part of the game, a couple dungeons and one of the best companions, and made them DLC. Then, they gave this DLC for free to anyone who buys the game new.

I hear you can make a gay pairing, lolol...

I hear you can make a gay pairing, lolol...
You can. My roommate made his big tuff barbarian guy, and his face is really crazy looking, but half the time once his character is actually in the game he has these ... big baby eyes, so funny. The gay sex cut scene with his big baby eyes is the funniest thing I have ever seen.

Eloquent Raider

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.

Derp, My goal is to finish all these drawings by the time October rolls around. Think I can do it? THat's about one a day.
