Many Cosplayers use it to show an image of who they are trying to be.

And in the last 2 weeks i seen two people who did that and won neutral
And also since i got limited internet acccess i cant go and see the reference pics of cosplayers, therefore a pic in the first comment is very helpful for me to vote crying
