How exactly do some users change their image urls to tinyurls? ninja

If you mean decreasing the url size tinyurl.com helps.
I had to shorten your image url to put in my sig it was way over the sig limit with the normal url.

I've added a link to Tinyurl but I'll be buggered before I tell them exactly how to put the url in a little box and click. It shows them how to do it there.

last week i found out what the deal was with links messing up.

it is because of the new profile/signature system. when you have an & in your link, something in the gaia system turns it into its ascii equivalent which includes an & which gets translated into the ascii equivalent again. there is no escaping it unless you use tinyurl or something like that, which gives you the dreaded "leaving gaia" banner.

but there is away to avoid the whole mess.

all you need to do is use the following url with your personal entry number.

http://www.gaiaonline.com/avatararena/?postid=####

problem solved.
