Decided to post this after seeing some of the previous comments....

Best be careful man, she DOES have control over who sleeps on the couch, or the dog house in your case. In MOST cases she does...
Keep her happy and she'll keep you happy. And you are allowed to say no to somethings, not always the case, but it is allowed on somethings.
