OMG ~ 5k ~ THAT'S AMAZING!!! Good for you! I'm super proud of you! I'm still having troubles with the stairs in my townhouse, but I'm doing pretty OK otherwise. Yes, it seemed to take FOREVER to heal up. Let's see, it will be 2 months on Aug 8 ~ so yea, it took a bit of a long time. I still get pangs now and again, but only if I eat too fast, or take too big of a bite of food ~ it's an ongoing process because, frankly, I'm just used to jamming food into my mouth and NOT thinking about it, which is what got me in this predicament to begin with!!

It gave me a chuckle what you said about your class ~ I hate public ANYTHING as well, even when I was in high school (maybe even before) I couldn't stand in front of class and give a report, or sing for an audition or anything like that. I just froze. I also wanted to be a teacher, but made some bad life choices, so it didn't happen. If I could go back and do it again, I'd make different choices.

Hiiii!!! Hope you are doing well. Sorry I haven't stopped by lately, but I had surgery (nothing big....had a hiatal hernia to be repaired and had weight loss surgery). It's been one month now, and I'm FINALLY starting to feel like myself. Also, my A/C broke, so up until about a week ago we were sitting here in this "greenhouse" TRYING not to kill each other. It was close to 90 in here. Got that replaced. So.....WHEW. It's been an eventful month full of happenings! LOL! Hugs to you! Hope everything is OK at your end. smile smile

OMG, just went to look on Amazon Prime and they have SO much Dr. Who it made my head spin! WoooooHoooo! That's awesome of your brother & boyfriend to get those for you! I don't have any here at the house, I watch them all on either TV or NOW Amazon. smile YAY! Now we don't have to go to rehab! LOL! *hugs*

GAH! First of all, delete that other post I just put up LOL. Apparently we have a limit on how many letters/numbers we can use, and I exceeded it. Didn't get any warning, though...and NO edit button. Sorry. Now.....about Netflix: OMG, right? I still can't believe they took it off. I always enjoyed going back to those "old" episodes...AND they had everything from #9 to our most recent beloved Doctor. I never got a chance to watch all of them. *sigh* Oh, well, I guess we'll just have to wait....hmmmm, oh, maybe Amazon Prime has them. I'm gonna go have a looksee. LOL! *hugs*

I like it a lot, except that a few episodes are kinda silly. Like The Impossible Planet, it's orbiting a black hole and he's like 'that's impossible, it's not how physics work'. I am like 'WTH! That's totally how physics works! Orbiting a black hole is just like orbiting any other gravitational body. You just need to orbit at a greater distance for something that size.' (and given that you see it suck down a star system like our sun sucks down rogue asteroids, yeah, it seems to be way the heck far away from that black hole. No gravity beams required.)
