We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will.

We really are a society of hypocrites, aren't we? All the time we are bombarded by messages telling us to embrace who we are, and be individuals. Yet, at the same time, we frown upon anyone who we see as different. Our society makes it so that those who don't fit in is almost worse than death itself, thus, we are forced to die inside.
After the last tree has been cut down;

After the last fish has been caught;
Only then will you find that money cannot be eaten.
I expect to pass through the world but once. Any good therefore that I can do, or any kindness I can show to any creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer it, for I shall not pass this way again.
