English is such a strange language.. In my homeland words are what they are. Everything is simple. Is hard to get used to but... fun to control. -Slowly he lowers a thick, worn book onto the coffee table and raises to full height- 'Smack'... can be a threat. -Something like a smile that shows he knows more then he perhaps ought to- It can also be a drug... Ah... -One hand moves up slowly up and the tip of a single, gloved finger slides into his mouth where he promptly bites down hard and lowers his hand, the leather caressing pale skin until it was freed then his spare hand removes the glove- And.. -A slightly smug smile audibly kisses his knuckles- It can be both an action of the lips... and a sound they make. Is... interesting, da?

This is the roleplay account for Ivan Braginski from the anime/web comic Hetalia.
Guess what? You've just found Gakuen!Ivan! >w< Run run run while you can! Just kidding. =w= ♥ Ivan isn't unstable in the conventional pipe wielding way. He's just got a few key facts that make him who he is. First of all, Ivan is human and was born in Russia to a mother who was very strong but very loving and nurturing and a father who was a very high ranking general. Ivan spent a relatively happy childhood in Russia until his mother died and at that point, his father decided it would do them both good to see more of the world, starting with the U.S.
Since his father is emotionally withdrawn but expects Ivan to measure up to him, Ivan spends most of his spare time either doing some kind of physical training or reading. The family is upper middle class and so he has plenty of money for books. He's taken up learning as many languages as he can and is hoping to become a literary professor. In the meantime he lives in a fairly large but often empty home and since firmly deciding to make his father proud he strives to always be well dressed, articulate, and knowledgeable at all times. He doesn't often wear sneakers or t-shirts and the like, preferring to stick to wearing things that he would describe as 'business casual', the same as himself. But.. he /is/ human, so he slips up a lot and is very very far from perfect. He likes to put himself in control of what ever situation he is in but he disapproves of television because he thinks of it as a time waster.
If he gets lonely enough he always has his sisters in the house with him somewhere. His older sister is always all too happy to spend time with him and bake things for him and give him valuable advice on things to come with being an adult. His younger sister tends to cling to him whenever she can. He loves them both very much and considers it his responsibility to protect them. Together they all planted a small garden of sunflowers behind their house and it is Ivan's favorite place to go and sit if he needs a break from the indoors. At about mid summer he normally has really bad sunburns from time to time from tending them during the day.
At school he is a very attentive student and along with making only the best grade he is always sure to get on the good side of any teacher he has so that they will look the other way should there be one or two fellow students he feels the need to put down. Ivan likes showing off his strength in small, memorable ways like lifting people up at random like his favorite personal assistant *CoughnotbychoiceCough* Toris Laurinaitis and he finds one particular classmate of his is disgustingly Pro-American (three guesses who~) so he's made sure to make him a constant target of his disfavor.
