Out of six stories (12 episodes) for a season, they only got to film three episodes before Lis got sick and passed away. I think it was great that they stopped it because it kept the end of the series wide open for fan interpretation of how the characters continue living their lives. Yes the effects have gotten better BUT it's impressive with what they had in terms of funds and talent to work with. I'm not sure about the new season of Torchwood because I'm still trying to play catch up. Well I hate to say it but it's because us Americans ruined it.... If it was in the hands of the UK, it would have been awesome, but they Americanized it. And yes I did hear about that *giggles* Naughty Jack

Sarah Jane Adventures? Yes it was actually! Out of the three series, Sarah Jane Adventures is centered a bit more towards kids and teens, Doctor Who is for the whole family, and Torchwood is more adult themed than the others. Not only am I a huge fan of Sarah Jane Smith, the overall series of seeing a sort of human version of the Doctor protecting Earth day after day in order was fun to watch. Too bad the last season stopped mid-season because of Lis' death...

I catch it every now and again but I have a vivid imagination at times and easily scare myself with nightmares even though I'm 26 XD I'm trying to catch up with Torchwood since Netflix has all of them now
