There is an achievement you can get if someone posts only "cool avi" on your comments. But, seeing that you didn't get it, I'm guessing that you haven't unlocked that one yet. confused

Thanks! xd It took a three part layering glitch to get the red eye. I had the experiment skin with the red boils all over the body, and then the alien mask on top of that, and the fish helmet on top of that. The red boil around the eye glitches to make a red eye with the alien eye, but it only works with the helmet on. Don't you love glitches? blaugh

Lucky! I've worked nursery dozens of times, but our church doesn't pay it's nursery workers. It's strictly on a volunteer basis. Although, now that I think about it, I haven't volunteered to work nursery since I failed my student teaching. Then again, that was also the time I joined the choir.

I didn't get hired yet or anything. rofl I just picked up an application. But, the fact is that I'm going to try to get a minimum wage job while I'm looking for a job I actually want. Student loans are going to be due soon, and it's gotten me feeling sick in the pit of my stomach. Several stores hire extra help for the holiday season, so hopefully I can find something really quickly.

The interview was a huge waste of time. They didn't give me too many particulars, but I was hoping that they were going to have me do office work or file claims or something. No... Instead, they wanted me to sell life insurance. So, when I stopped by Hobby Lobby on my way hope to buy more yarn, so I saw that they were hiring, so I picked up an application. I would much rather work at Hobby Lobby than sell life insurance. I've heard horror stories about working on commission. xp

Speaking of knitting, I'm going to attempt to make my first hat this week. It's going to be a birthday present for a friend of the family, so I had better do a good job on it. It's going to be a beanie if you're wondering. 3nodding

I see about the funds. xp Do you think you can make a profit from selling knitted goods online? Yarn isn't cheap.

What about that money that you were saving in case of an emergency? Getting the car fixed seems like an emergency.

I've never had any trouble finding knee socks that fit me. confused My problem is finding knee socks period. It's like nowhere wants to sell them anymore because they are suddenly uncool or something. *shrugs* I don't know my measurements, but my calves aren't very big. I mean, my calf muscle pokes out a bit, but then who's doesn't? They weren't extra roomy on my legs or anything, so I'm guessing they're just the regular size. They don't look like they get any wider going up.

This is random, but I'm really happy right now because I bought some purple polka dotted knee socks at Publix tonight, and I'm wearing them right now, and they're so warm and comfy! whee It is so hard to find cute knee socks, so I was thrilled to see some at Publix. They were in the Halloween section if you were wondering. lol
