I dunno when it became a thing over here and you guys hated us so it would make sense if it was thing that you got rid of it sad Lol it's another Bank Holida here as well 3nodding not sure why? But I'm not complaining xd

I think you'd be ok here, and most European countries... I've never needed any to go where I've been on holiday so I can't see you needing them. Yeah tropical countries and less developed countries tend to need more shots. I don't tend to drink the water abroad either, luckily most places actually sell a water local to me rofl but at home I do drink tap water... we have our own local water source in the village so I know where the water comes from but i stilll use a water filter... it just tastes better sweatdrop We have lateral flow tests free that you can either get at a pharmacy or order online... which is lucky as I can just get them delivered, I had contact with someone who has tested positive the day before New Years so I'm now testing daily... luckily all coming up negative so far... turns out it was James's nephew who I saw out whilst at the pub. yeah, it sucks that you guys don't have that sad

Lol I saw a way to do the tissue paper so it looks all pretty as well but I did really like how my presents looked this year. It made my tree look so pretty as well.

I hope you do too... there's so much out there to see, and I haven't seen that much of it either... my bank balance doesn't allow for that. Haha I didn't wake up broke... although I had spent a lot of money. It's only a couple of times a year though that I get that bad so it's ok xd I think I needed to let my hair down clearly after the month I'd had sweatdrop Yesterday was really chill, I ate chocolate, sat curled up in my blanket hoodie and watched films xd Today though I saw my niece who is 4 and made me play with her constantly and read her books... that was hard work but then we started on a criminal csi game... didn't finish it... but me and my mum made good progress... everyone else I think lost interest rofl We just have one person who we haven't worked out who they are sweatdrop and I think that holds the clue to who it is.

Oooh what are the games that the controllers for/new games. What shows you got to get caught up on? Any idea what you're gonna do with your friend? Know you said that the weather makes things difficult for you guys.

Hopefully going yo a sculpture park on New Years eve.. covid negative test results permitting. other than that no real plans except mebbe seeing family some more. Tomorrow is hopefully another quiet day heart

Ah well at least it didn't ruin your main Christmas pressies then 3nodding Yeah I had a google, it's a bank holiday over here, and it's when they used to donate to the poor and the churches would open the donation boxes and distribute to them in the UK, so is observed as well in places that were British colonies from the sounds of it. Just like an extension to Christmas day where you see more family and use up leftovers 3nodding so the sales that start after Christmas are called the Boxing Day Sales as that's when they start... imaginative huh? rolleyes

Lol that's how it worked for Nuffy if she went from 5'6" to 5'4". Yeah I didn't need boosters for stuff I had as a child as far as I'm aware... I'm sure the doctors would be writing to me if I needed to go... or as is the way now texting me! Well that's what happens when you travel to some pllaces... not really something we have to deal with in the UK 3nodding That's good to hear... over here no one has to worry about it so we are really lucky, we literally have walk in centres for boosters, I got a text inviting me to book for my booster so I did that. You can get private health care here as well but you don't have to have that to get care, you might just get seen quicker, have nicer facilities etc.

Lol I should have thought of that but I didn't have bags... all mine had got to the end of their life! Got to save all the ones this year 3nodding Then I have a back up plan sweatdrop

I dunno... clearly he had a problem with it! Lol well if you ever make it over here I'll get ya a drink or 3 xd I just get very generous when I'm drunk eek and will buy anyone a drink rofl She was so cutte a Kelpie Collie cross, and all sleepy when I got her, so we had a proper little snuggle! I'm just wrapping on demand now xd no rush tomorrow as I;m having a quiet day all on my own! So gonna snuggle up in my new Blanket Hoodie... its sooooo warm and comfy!

Awww that sucks... what did you get them instead? Glad you got it all finished... you might be able to buy them in the Boxing day sales (if you guys have them also)

Yeah... that's something to look forward to at least. At least I can meet up with more people than lat year... last year was really limited for seeing family.

I don't think there's a set amount and not all people lose height or not as much.. but knowing my luck I will... Nuffy lost 2 inches after her first 2 kids so that's an inch a kid eek Flu ones some people get annually over here but as I said it's not one I've qualified for before. Other boosters I'm guessing mebbe it depends on what you are at risk at getting in your area... we have to get jabs to go to some different countries. I've never had to get any for my travels, but when my mum went to Thailand she had to get a load as well as take malaria tablets I think. Do you guys need to have insurance to get the Covid vaccines? Cause if you do that is MESSED up! I know we're lucky in the UK to have a free health service, it's only stuff like elective surgeries you have to pay for, and if you can prove either mental of physical distress you can get some of those... like laser removals for tattoos.

Well as you wouldn't decorate your house that way I think you're safe wink

haha my mum did that but not now, Ian likes to wrap everything individually with bows and ribbons and stuff. I use plain brown paper (recycled and recyclable) now and then real ribbons which can be reused 3nodding I was VERY drunk... so you know *shrugs* bumped into a friend who complained that I always tried to buy him a drink... saw him today and was like "I've seen you twice this year before today... it just happened to be the 2 times I got s**t faced" rofl also had a cuddle with his 15 week old puppy heart Still have presents to wrap for the family I'm seeing tomorrow but I'll do that in the morning xd

Awww sounds like everyone panic bought the shop up for Christmas presents.... did you manage to get your Christmas shopping sorted?

Lol well who knows if we'll do that? Some people are for it, others against it. I'm just fed up of it all now, I just want life to go back to normal crying

I'm already short... I'll just get shorter confused I still want kids though... need someone to look after me when I get old and crazy xd You guys get a lot more shots than we do. It sucks that you have to have insurance to get basic i health care as well confused Although I dont get flu shots, they're for people with health issues, pregnant women and old people I think? I dunno.... I just know I don't get one 3nodding Yeah that could be a nightmare... I guess though that if you decide to decorate your house to that extent you're probably ok with people taking pictures of it.

Haha that's cause they're aimed at women xp

I'm just gonna contact someone who will break it down for scrap metal and parts and see what they'll give me for it. It's the way of it.

I'm attempting to motivate myself to finish wrapping presents... I'm super tired though...ended up stayin out later yesterday... was also very drunk sweatdrop so a little hungover today!

Had to do?!? That's not celebrating... that's a chore!!!! emotion_facepalm I feel the need to remind you what the word celebrate means xp

A circuit break... is like a short lockdown design to reverse a spike in cases. At this point it's a waiting game to see what rules are implemented... pretty much how it has been for the past nearly 2 years. I doubt we'll have a complete lockdown again in England, the other nations seem more strict in their regulations than we are which is funny cause at first Wales was a lot less strict than England was... who knows. Oh people are paying for the jabs they're being paid to get the boosters eek I can see how it will get people to have them but I can also see how it will backfire in the future confused

I'm one of the rarities then xd Lol apparently... I can't afford to lose any height!!!! I'm already the shortest... even my mum is taller than me sad I;m right handed which is probably why I choose the left arm... but then I can't sleep properly because I'm in pain sweatdrop What did you get a bunch of boosters for? Think the last time I was stabbed before this year I was still a teenager eek and that was for a blood test.

Yup, well I got clear plastic baubles and decorated them, some with old nail varnish inside, alcohol ink and feathers! I like being crafty... it's therapeutic and homemade gifts are always a nice personal touch. The old fashioned style are super delicate, I dropped one last year and it broke the toes off the teddy bear ornament sweatdrop but they add some colour. Wooden are nice, but I dunno I do like the glass.. I have a few wooden ones as well. Christmas is expensive enough already without adding a mahooosive electricity bill on top of that. My step dad has friends in America and he showed me a video of their drive with every tree drowned in lights it just seems a bit overkill to me. But whatever makes them happy. It's be boring if we were all the same. Thanks! It's muchly appreciated! Awww bless... my mum isn't keen either. I'm just a child at heard xd

Well we have to try and be happy... it's Christmas. As much as it sucks I can't go about moping that helps no one! I'm going to see what the pros and cons of claiming on my insurance are... after I've paid the excess which I think is about £250 it might not be worth it.

Is that celebrating?!? stare I suppose it's getting rid of the books you don't need anymore... but it's not really what I had in mind xp Try not to think about it (easier said than done I know) but the more you think about it the more you'll worry and not enjoy yourself... find distractions! Oh 100% and there isn't really any office drama either which is always nice.

There's not been any talk in England so far but Wales have already announced closing of pubs and nightclubs and maybe made a mention for my Mum and Ian to be considering this I'm guessing. My new phone means I'm not constantly inundated with covid news for some reason.. I'm not complaining in any case xd it was all so depressing.

So a bit like a circuit break? At least it's something... I heard something on the News today about New York paying people to get the booster jab eek I feel like that might backfire in the long run for future boosters if they're required confused Oh it wasn't just exploiting the employees it was just exploiting the system full stop. Aww that makes sense... Guessing in those temps you won't even want to walk with a hot drink or something... definitely colder than us at the moment! We're about late 20s-30ish in your wonky temperatures wink

Well it proves I know your pain! Also you get to be taller than someone, if I remember rightly Nuffy is the same height as me... she was your height but then she had kids and they steal your height stare Most of the ache had gone today... just a little tender round the stabbing site, hopefully I can lie on my side again tonight... don't ask me why I don't think this through before I give them an arm to stab. you'd think after the 3rd one in a year I'd have learnt... don't give them your left arm rolleyes but nope I'm a muppet!

Lol they're not all glass... I've got blue silver and white too... mainly ones I did myself... and they look super pretty in real life.. just don't show up on the photos so well sad I also have some old fashioned style glass ones of santa and snowmen etc. Aww your mum's sounds nice, my mum has a mix of wooden and glass. Yeah, see that sounds tasteful... I dunno I guess we're not used to it... it's just like in the last 10-20 years people have gone nuts on the outsides of their houses and the animals... just NO! Lol. How do those people sleep and also think of the electricity bill eek Awww we rarely get snow on Christmas day... although there is a chance this year... the closest in recent years and actually this year is snow on Boxing Day. I would love a White Christmas... I'd be like a proper child over that xd

Lol well decorative aggregates are probably a more niche market than just basic aggs. We also have 3 branches to it... the guys who supply garde centre, us who supply the builder and landscaping merchants and then the online store (but we don't mention them to avoid upsetting our customers rofl )

Lol, they're not for everyone and most aren't aimed at guys but it's nice for some easy watching rofl and yay for catching up on you shows and movies! Make a day/night of it... with a load of unhealthy food, blankets and not getting dressed xd

Just slightly... Lol my Christmas present to myself! I don't think I'd be so bothered if I hadn't paid a load of money to get through my MOT and had it back less than a week gonk oh well s**t happens... luckily I've got my big brother on the case xd one of the perks to being a little sister!

YAYAYAYAY!!!!! Time to celebrate and let your hair down!!! There's no point worrying about it now sweet, what's done is done and you can't change it, also you're too hard on yourself! I'm sure it's better than you perceive! I get why they have to, but I feel like it should be better compensated but unfortunately that is not the case, although I think it has given me a better appreciation for how I'm treated now and the break I get, the first year I was ill with a horrendous cold the whole week so it can never be that bad xd

Fingers crossed... covid permitting. There have been more tlaks of restrictions coming in. Wales is closing pubs etc from Boxing Day, so we're aiming to get my step siter and her family up here so they're not prevented from coming up.

Awww that's sucks... I think I'd seen somewhere that some places had moved to remote learning over there in the New Year... they've not ruled that out over here either, but nothing official yet. I think they've removed all the support over here now but not sure if they would reimplement it if there was more restrictions brought back. To be honest it was horribly exploited by some businesses over here which is awful as it was there to help people not line peoples pockets. Yeah, I can deal with like smaller house parties etc but going to a pub. Awww well you can always do a museum and then a walk mebbe with some take away food? Just remember to bundle up warm!

Awww bless, I seemed to remember that you weren't really tall but if it makes you feel better I'm only 5'4" so I get the whole short thing... smaller steps isn't necessarily a bad thing... are legs aren't as long it's harder for us to take longer strides... just make quicker strides. Still achey and stiff in my neck, shoulders and upper arms. I've tried to stay hydrated... but I probably drink less at a weekend... not as motivated to get up and take a break from my desk I suppose xd

I have decorated it xd It looks all pretty and festive now... I've got photos I'll just need to upload them 3nodding then I can show you, although as a lot of my ornaments are glass so they don't show on the pictures confused A few lights out side like on a fir tree or round the windows is nice but covered in lights, blow up snowmen/reindeer/santas are awful! I dunno we were always more understated at mine so I think we like what we know maybe? If only we got snow at Christmas that would be magical!

I dunno, we're probably growing in to a medium sized business, but compared to a little cafe it seems big. I suppose it depends on what you're used to. We are the largest supplier of decorative aggregates in the UK, so we're not like a teeny tiny shop.

It'll depend on whether they're out of work or just looking to move, just looking to move not likely out of work or facing being out of work more likely to look during the holidays. Yeah just slightly, its why work cancelled it as they didn't think it reflected well on the business.

Well not the papers done it's time for Lost to play for a bit! At least briefly! Well you can't beat crapppy cheesey feel good Christmas films! Even if they are 100% predictable!

Oh update on the car situation... the exhaust hadn't gone... nope... some lowlife, scummy robbing b@$£@%# had stolen my catalytic converter scream ... which is apparently super rare so you can only get if you send one back... which obvs I can't do as its been stolen rolleyes ... so new car hunting for Christmas sad

Anyways hope your Mondays been better than mine! heart

YAY!!!! For Christmas Break... BOO for still working on the paper sad Hopefully you can get it polished off quickly and it doesn't drag on too much for you 3nodding Lol thanks... joys of full time working, however in my old job I got Christmas Day off and that was it so I actually feel really lucky getting any time off at all... also it doesn't coe out of my annual leave so bonus xd It's happened twice before... and those times it was my team... although we just had to muddle through confused Awww how come you ended up at home? Get out!!! Go to town... do something for YOU!!! Don't make me come over there and kick your a** xd No plans really, mainly seeing family on different days, my Step sister, brother in law and niece are up for a bit so will be meeting up with them as well whilst they're up. To be honest, you get to the end of the week and it doesn't feel like you've had any time off gonk There's been talk of them shutting the pubs over here, so I'm hoping they implement that before New Years Eve so I don't have to go out... I mean I enjoy it but meh... I ended up these day surrounded by people I don't really know, and so once midnight hits a load of random strangers wishing me happy birthday sweatdrop What are your plans for the break?

Aww well that's good... sometimes it's the little things like that that make a difference and paying attention to how you've walked prior to pain will help you see what the issue is. Awww glad to hear you are Covid free... I had my booster on Friday... yesterday I ached all over and was fatigued, today still achey but no where near as bad. Pole up until Covid I'd been doing it for about 2 years... although through Covid I went sporaiscally last year... I've never managed to get back this year, what with weddings and then car troubles. New Year I've promised to get my self back to my fitness classes.

Awww you'll have to get a proper one next year wink even if it's a little baby one! I popped mine up today! The tree is my main decoration, I have a few little bits but mainly the tree. That's what makes me think of Christmas anyways xd My Step Dad, I think he would but my Mum has put her foot down on that... We have a few houses round here that go all out, some were decorated in November scream I prefer understated xd I've got a hanging star on the door which I can put a tealight in (or in my case a fake tealight xd )

Yeah, that's specifically for us, they have big warehouses for the animal feed they take in. We're by no means their biggest customer but they're our only dock up in Scotland, and we have other options so it's worth investing for us to keep using them. We used to use another dock location previously.

Did you manage to get it finished? Glad to hear you were taking a break!

Fingers crossed we can get people in quickly. Only 3 and a half days to go! I'm so excited to have a break although it means yet another year has gone in the blink of an eye gonk Well they've postponed the official one to later next year once hopefully things have calmed down and it will look less bad to have 65 people in a party. So we'll still get one, but as so many people are leaving we wanted to still do something... I don't plan to be out all night, organised for a lift back around 4-5ish so meal a few drinks then out of there before the place gets too busy.

Weekends been ok apart from the booster side effects. Now just watching crappy cheesy christmas movies xd Hope your weekends not been all work and no play heart

My tea was super pretty heart Lol yeah that mug was washed the next morning... I was a little tipsy so I went and got a new mug that night xd oooh thats nice and definitely longer than my break... I finish midday on the 23rd back on the 4th so a week and a half break. You should make the most of not having to go out but doing your own thing! You can also venture out if you don't want to be cooped up!!!! I'll try my best... I'm still gonna try and leave on time... luckily it's happening at what should be our quietest time of year.

Awww you just need to try and notice what causes issues... it might be that with longer footsteps you your steps are also heavier putting more pressure through the muscles and joints. Nah I've never fallen on my head but I also always get nervous and although I should be fine I struggle doing the upside down moves... probably cause in my head I'll think I'll injure myself... I am ridiculously accident prone.

Lol to be fair your Christmas season is probably more insane than ours and definitely more insane than what we get in the rural areas. Oh 100% that was a rant started by moi xd but it really is scream Awww that sucks. I love a proper Christmas tree... it doesn't feel like Christmas without a proper tree. Mebbe they'll surprise you. My mum's been battling with my step dad as he likes all the Christmas tat and likes to decorate stupidly early gonk

Lol exactly... I'm just going to have to get better with trains sweatdrop The docks are having bays built for storage and a washing and bagging plant put in... so a lot's happening there once it gets started.

To be fair I've done my bit... it's down to transport now xd Lol well it's not everyone abandoning us but the other team has lost 3 of the 4 members and the one left goes on maternity leave at the end of January gonk so it will be a rush to train others. Weeks going ok... but it's nearly over so yay! Then next week is only 3 and a half days... I've also spent a lot of time over the past 2 days sorting out the Christmas Party as the official work party was cancelled so 20 of us are going out for a meal to the same place and paying for ourselves... but had to get a list together of who wanted to come and speak to the venue gonk rewarding myself with an evening of Christmas films!

Exactly, somethings are more beautiful when it's atmospheric...

Well it wasn't full but it made my tea look very pretty.... You know you'd better or you'll get me nagging you twisted How long a break do you get? Exactly but it sounds less when you go on working days. Oh he just said that the Covid alert level had been raised to 4... nothings changed but work have cancelled anyone coming into the office. We're all going down and keeping the booking. We just have to pay for ourselves. Or that's what I've gathered... I was out when it was announced so I'm going on what I've been told. Paper grading sounds more fun than listening to Boris rofl Nope, no replacements yet... basically I'm covering 3 of the people who are leaving jobs gonk January is not going to be fun!

Aww that doesn't sound good, is it a weakened knee as there are exercises you can do to strengthen the muscles round your knee which should help ease the pain 3nodding Lol fingers crossed... it could be worse... I think that's why I get nervous inverting as if i fall then I land on my head eek

Yeah, basically... I think it was mainly because my mum was a TA so she waited till the school holidays... either way it stops you being bored of it by Christmas... especially as when I worked n retail you had it all day from mid November gonk Awww you don't have a Christmas tree?!? sad why not?

Sounds like the new Sales/commercial director wants it to be a yearly thing... he had a good chuckle at my troubles today when I told him,... luckily I can laugh about it all now. I managed to get my report done today... although I forgot to report on the visit to the docks... however that was mentioned in pretty much every customer's report rofl ie when the docks have been developed my life will be easier rofl To be honest I think there are a lot of people like us... that's why there are words for these things wink

Exactly they're more atmospheric... the moors and the rugged coastlines, it's the whole untamed wilderness it is somehow more beautiful when its dark and overcast. One of the beaches I go to neaar Whitby is like that... I've never been there when it's sunny but the pictures I get are just so beautiful I don't think I want to go when it's a nice sunny day xd

But glitters so pretty!!!!! I actually have a picture of a cup of tea that ended up all glitterfied after a glitter attack at a Christmas Party xd It just looked so pretty if not drinkable rofl Make time over the break to read for you!!! Lol it's long enough (I also cut out the weekends) work have also postponed the Christmas Party after Boris's announcement yesterday, although we're looking at organising a meal for some of us as there are 5 people leaving at the end of the year. I'm not really feeling it but I also love the people I work with so I'll prob go for the meal stop for a drink or 2 and then make my way home.

But if you're doing it gradually you gotta be in for the long haul! I actually saw something for you to check if your arches were raised correctly... but I can't remember where now. What kinda troubles? It was ok... just as it was a fall I dropped out of as I'd got the weight through my wrist wrong I dropped suddenly and didn't land too well.. unfortunately my wrists are hyper flexible so I have to be careful as it could be easy to injure confused

I love a proper Christmas tree... no decorations till the weekend though! I get called bah humbug cause I refuse to decorate earlier xd Lol I just never think to make them for me which is daft really... I should make them more often xd

Not too long, luckily the all day meeting has been cancelled Thursday and today internal audit was postponed so I have that extra time in my week to write it. Aww hunny... your burnt out!!! you've been working your a** off so it's no surprise... it's why I kept nagging you. Long nights don't help though... lack of vitamin D. You didn't completely waste it... you did some marking and got reading done for today... that's not nothing! You're too hard on yourself!!!! Mebbe you're like me and work better under pressure... it's easy to get distracted otherwise... I can disappear into my head if I've not got loads to do or don't feel like there's loads to do... if that makes sense.

It's 5ft, but very full so will have lots of branches for my ornaments 3nodding Tree goes up the weekend before Christmas (although if Christmas is a Monday/Tuesday it can go up 2 weekends before) and then I take it down on the 12th night (so 5th of January) it's how my parents always did it so I'm carrying it on for myself, and being a real Christmas Tree it'd be dead by Christmas if it went up at the beginning of December.

Weeks started off OK, another person handed in their notice rolleyes so the New Year is going to be fun gonk but other than that I spent the day working on scheduled orders for next year for one of my customers... 6 loads per order... my brain was fried by the end sorting it all out to weight. Hmmm mebbe.. although some are best seen in the bleak weather... it makes them more atmospheric. I'm used to it to be honest... every so often we get a massive dump of the stuff.... mebbe that's why I still get all excited over the stuff xd

You don't see it on the week by week photos but you see a difference over a few weeks then months... its actually surprising... doin it weekly is to kind of remind you to keep going 3nodding I dunno mebbe... it was a thought as fallen arches affect the weight distribution through muscles and joints which can affect your gait. It's not something I've ever really had... the only time they kinda hurt me was when I fell off the pole from height whilst doing a split grip and holding myself away sweatdrop

So far just the 5 but I'm hoping to make a few more next week for people... just need to decide on the colour and fragrance to use... also need to see how much wax I have left confused but that can all be sorted after I decorate the Christmas tree! heart I should make them for me but I always tend to make them as gifts for others 3nodding

Haha I know... to be fair that's the way the Area Sales Manager I'm buddied up with put it to the customers xd hodtage/mental patient xd Yeah it was and I'd look forward to it in the future. I've gotta write a report up on it though confused I'll have to work on that this week as they want it by Friday

Well fingers crossed it turns up soon. I dunno the security on the online banking apps tend to be fairly strict and over here it allows you to draw out money without a bank card (even if you've forgotten your card) as you can just ask for a code from the app.

Lol kinda back to normal still feel tired... but mebbe it's a psychological thing as I know I have a break coming up. Went and got the Christmas tree yesterday so my house is gonna smell all Christmassy soon xd can't beat the smell of a real Christmas Tree! I could never have a fake tree. How's marking going? I think with a measurement it's easier to be motivated and disheartened, I think one of the best things I've seen is taking photos like weekly so you can see your progress, I just hate photos so much that I can;t bring myself to do that sweatdrop Do you have fallen arches as that can cause more issues with it? It can be to do with the weight distribution in the muscles and joints. They are helpful and lots of fun which is what I need to motivate myself.

I have containers that you pour them into and that's how you give them 3nodding you can get molds which is what I've used for the wax melts I've made but they were breaking as I took them out so I need to remelt them and try again confused You can get molds to make them in... but I've not tried those confused More for birthdays and special occassions with the candles... oil blends as and when I need them.

It's the same for me... I'm happier to have a quiet night in with a few close friends than a night out... I definitely fit well with the whole hygge idea that recommends smaller groups.

Yeah, I think it might become an annual thing... I've not been allowed out before so who knows maybe it will be an every 5 years kinda thing xd It was really nice and I got a free trip to Scotland xd

Exactly but it's easier to be disheartened if you have an actual number to compare against. I tend to go by inches as well rather than weight as muscle weighs more than fat. yup, rapid weight loss tends to be from basically starving yourself, so then when you start eating again your body stores more fat in case it gets starved again. You could always google to see how to prevent them or how to help reduce the pain. Meh not a gym... I don't like Gyms, I'll start going back to pilates and pole.. I've not really been back and with my car issues etc I''ve not been able to go so at this point it's like new year start over.

Lol tell me about it... I was so stressed and tired by the time I got back. They were just train rides to be fair... I spent most of my time reading xd nothing better than losing yourself in a story.

That takes a lot of time for dipping... as much as I'd love to do that you have to dip and then let it set then dip again. It's just the method used to make container candles, you put the wick in the middle and pour in the wax. I've customized them before but they're harder to make the scents for... I do make my own scented oil blends for diffusers etc and I'm going to make a meditation one what is really relaxing for my little brothers girlfriend as I've found it really calming and grounding.

Well it was all stuff I kinda thought should have been implemented and because I'm an introverted hermit I'm not so big on the going out to pubs etc rofl

You'll be through them in no time I'm sure. Awww well as long as you have the notes and quotes you'll have the framework that can be half the battle for them.

Well I was there for 2 nights so 3 days there, it was nice though, I expect it will be an annual thing. Lol times also flies by very quickly these days... stupid getting older sad I think I'm just going to relax, James' dad is having a get together on Sunday as it's his 70th next week so that's Sunday sorted.

Just general traffic... today was even worst coming back... arrived with plenty of time and then the person on the platform told me the wrong train to get on so I ended up having to book new tickets from Carlisle, to Manchester and from there to Chesterfield gonk arrived back an hour later than planned and then my car exhaust has started blowing gonk so it sounds like I'm driving a rally car crying

you buy wax chips... in my case soy wax, melt it down, add the candle/soap dye and then the scent oils, I'd bout pre mixed for the christmas ones but I have made my own blends before 3nodding super simple and just nice gifts... also cheaper than shop bought candles!!! Yeah I do them around Christmas and last time I bought a load of cups in a charity shop and made them in the cups for people heart I like to give something homemade.

Nah didn't change my trip as Scotland was already in that frame of mind... won't affect my work either as I have to be in the office. The boosters are a new thing but at least it;s progress if they;re requiring it... small step but a step in the right direction for you.

It won't take long, cider... spices to mull, pop it in a sauce pan and warm gently... probs half an hour tops! and most of that you won't need to be with it. Ooooh hope the marking goes well too and doesn't take you too long!

I'm glad to be home now although I actually like the visiting customers bit the travelling to and from Scotland has been a bit of a mare for me gonk

It has been really nice, especially to meet my favourite customer 3nodding the guy I speak to there most often didn't even know I was coming in as he was off on Monday when it was all finalised so he was really shocked rofl Well the storm was ... nothing, it threw down some snow which didnt really stick apart form on the tops of the hills and mountains so it's not affected us at all. Well compared to what you guys get it will be nothing but storm Arwen which we just had caused loads of damamge and there are still houses without power over 10 days later I think.

Yeah I try to have a bit of cash on me and then mainly pay on card... doesn't always work that way but lots of places are now letting you add tips not that I've really been to any coffee shops or anything recently, although if I do I've asked them to round it up to a certain amount, which quite often they allow you to do. Oooh what books did you buy?

Nah I'm just bigger but healthier. Come the new year I'll be back on it to shed the pounds/inches. I like the muscle ache... although its painful it shows me that i have used my muscles... the second day tends to be worse than the first day after exercise. Lol My worry for catching the train was justified the drive should take about 20-25 minutes I left with an hr to spare and only just made the train which was a minute late gonk hopefully tomorrow won't be as stressful for getting the train and I'll have plenty of time to chill and get a drink before getting it... I was on the platform for less than a minute on Tuesday gonk stupid rush hour traffic. Other than that it's all gone really well... everyones been lovely and I think it's been nice for them to put a face to the name/voice.

Mebbe try changing it to see if it helps... it might not distort for you but might not actually be helpful for your Dad that way? I'm not sure, it's worth a try anyways. Lol not candies ... candles... I made little container ones, 2 scented as spiced orange and 3 sparkling fizz and orange scented... If I have time I'm going to try making some chocolate truffles as well 3nodding

Well I missed the announcement today, but we're entering Plan B in Engand which will bring us more in line with Scotland and Wales, so facemasks everywhere, work from home where possible (so I'll still be in the office) covid passports for certain venues and larger venues need tests before entering. We should have been doing that before in my opinion anyways. Haha I can imagine... here I think it's been mainly gigs that have been the cause for some outbreaks.

It's mentioned in Scotland probably at least every few years or something... it's not something that I've ever experienced but I hear it reported for Scotland a few times so mebbe not regularly but who knows confused

Why don't you make it yourself... I'm sure there will be a recipe and if you have a slow cooker you can just pop it in there to warm and mull... Rekordelig used to make a warm winter cider which was apple cinnamon and vanilla which you just had to warm through which was delish but they discontinued it crying Is that your plan for the coming weekend then to get that sorted-ish. Hopefully it will come together really easily and quickly.

It's going to be weird to meet people and put faces to the names and the voices. Fingers crossed the journey goes ok, got another storm coming in tomorrow with the potential for more snow... it snowed today but it's all gone now so hopefully the drive to the train station will be ok in the morning. You get massive economical disparity everywhere unfortunately but I don't think it compares to some 3rd world nations confused

I used to be the same but now it's not so easy to have cash on me I've kinda got used to using my card... online shopping is more dangerous than just spending on your card, on your card you usually can see what you have so know how much you've spent 3nodding I try to keep some change on me for tips just incase.

Well just look around you whilst you walk, are you walking faster than others and not dying? People can look fit and healthy but my cousin who's skinny etc actually isn't as fit as me and she was shocked that I was fine and she was out of breath on a walk because I'm bigger I should be the unhealthy one rolleyes I don't often use the app for walking as I know where I'm going so I can't comment on that... I know people tell me I walk fast, which I think surprises them more as I'm short so they don't expect me to basically power walk everywhere but I've always had tall friends so that's my excuse. think I'm all set... gotta pack my laptop and toothbrush etc in the morning but otherwise I'm set 3nodding eep excited and nervous at the same time sweatdrop think I'm more nervous probably about getting the train than anything else. Whatsapp is super simple and handy to use. Most people I know use it these days as it can be used on wifi between diffferent operating systems and phones etc.

It might just take some time for your dad to adjust to it... but any help is better than no help... can you change the bass settings, if you can lower that it may help your dad? I need to get it down what everyone has so far so I can sort out who still needs what. I'm also making some people presents as well... made a load of candles yesterday xd

Yeah it's why most people are having staycations these days as its just so hit and miss going abroad now, if you're even allowed into the country depending on the countries own laws.

Well send any unwanted snow my way (after Thursday ideally so I can get home ok wink ) I've never experienced Thundersnow but they get it in Scotland occassionally.. I so want to see a thundersnow storm ... I think I'd be super giddy though xd

We just call 5 pence, 5p. I think most shop workers prefer when people pay on card, it minimises their risks as well I think 3nodding I think it's quite normal for people to pay on card these days... Christmas Markets used to mainly accept cash, now most of them have card machines to accept payment.

I dunno... it's just a guess based on the average person walks at 3-4 mph. But also if it's based upon people who are walking and not as fit as you are then they'll be walking slower. I bet you are already finding it easier 3nodding Yup, it was meant to arrive on Wednesday/Thursday whilst I'm in Scotland so nearly a full week early!!! Popped the screen protector on this afternoon when it arrived. Because I just had an older model it was SUPER simple I literally plugged one phone in to the other with the wire in the box and it transferred everything over... so I just have to wait for the number to transfer over from my old network. Just need to transfer over all the whatsapp data... that's the real nightmare gonk

I expect if I try it will just give me the last posting dates from Royal Mail, which will be end of next week/beginning of the week after from what I remember, it's about 2 weeks in the run up to Christmas. Nah, I've not been there before but it looks beautiful, it's one of those once in a lifetime holidays. Oh god what's happening over there, I think they haven't really reported over here about that... that or I missed it. Oh they're like that over here as well, pretending like it's not real... My friend at work likes to rant about it all the time, he's refused the vaccine and think it's all a way to control us... Awww you should have got it in the Black Friday deals... they reduce the price massively in those... although they may still have deal? I have a lot of books purchased or borrowed but I don;t have them all downloaded at once... I think I've got about 10 unread downloaded at the moment. I have just been on a reading binge which has whittled them down a bit. Yup I like that bit as I like to know what they said rather than read some half hearted explanation, that may or may not be true.

Lol well you guys get more snow than we do, we really don't know how to cope with it... we only get bad snow about every 5 years so we don't know how to prep for it. lol about 10 years ago when it snowed, I had to walk down a msssive hill which became a massive ice sheet... it took over a week for them to clear it, I took to walking the long way round as I literally slid down it otherwise and it took less time going the long route. Ooooh xd you sent me all the snow didn't you heart

Lol yeah, it was really good. It will be helpful for some stuff like helping with sorting out problem like when people get sent the wrong products. I don't think it will be as useful for me as it will be for the area sales managers but I can definitely see the benefit.
