---When asked to describe who I am, I try not to use common stereotypes and labels. I do not fall into any specific category, and won't make any attempts to. I am myself.

---The following is a rather long elaboration of the term “myself”, but it will tell you everything I'm willing to give out.

---I use proper spelling and grammar. If you do as well, I will respect you. If your posts have the intelligence of a ten-year-old, don't expect me to be nice to you. That's just how I am.
---I don't like random friend requests. I’d prefer to have a conversation with someone before becoming “BFFs” with them. I do, however, appreciate random PMs and comments, as, when administered correctly, they make me happy.
---I frequent The Suites and the Word Games forum; they are pretty much where I stay. I do some occasional roleplaying as well, but only when my brain is functioning enough to be literate, as I have a thing for berating myself for typing short posts. The topic of the roleplay determines how interested I am in it, and therefore how much effort I put in. Thus, I tend to be a stickler for the roleplays I join so I don’t half-a** anything.

---I’ll begin by saying I’m a female, and a very sarcastic one at that. I live in the USA, unfortunately, and have been on the east coast for almost my entire life. I was born on the 19th of August, sometime in the 1990’s.I am a high school graduate as of June 2009. In college, I plan to double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology. Pondering a minor in General Law, but we'll see.
---Aside from people who consider persecution a hobby, I do not favor perverts, George W. Bush, idiot drivers, liars, war, being yelled at, awkward silences, and, for the love of all that is covered in sprinkles, political and religious discussions. As long as you steer clear of all those, we should be fine.
---I have been into sports for pretty much all my life. My current career, so to speak, is softball. I aspire to play catcher. Alongside, I’m also interested in lacrosse, but there are basically no leagues where I am, so that dream is on the back burner for now. Knife throwing sounds fun, too, but the maternal being shot that one down pretty quickly.
---An avid reader since the age of four, I will read almost anything, and there have been very few books that I have not liked. Curling up in bed with a good book is one of my favorite things to do. After plenty of years of reading countless public school library books so as not to fail my Language Arts class, I set a goal last year to read all of the roughly one thousand books in my house. So far, I’ve read 285. This number will change in bursts, as I tend to forget to update my profile.
---I am a lover of music, and, as with books, will try anything. There are, however, a few genres I cannot stand, and thus will never be seen listening to them. The music I do enjoy is always played at a ridiculously high volume, as that is how I like it. With my love for listening to music comes the love to play it, and I express that with a guitar. I also love to dance, and will do so at every opportunity. Singing, with or without music, is also a favorite of mine, and I tend to use the nearest item as a makeshift microphone. This has included a carton of juice, and a fork.
---Bringing on more of the arts, I like to draw occasionally, though not enough to be overly good at it. Just something I do as a stress-reliever, or when the right inspiration dawns. Most of the time, though, I’m a budding photographer, with a love for macro shots and black-and-white photos. Feel free to check out some of my stuff here.
---Food is another love of mine. I love to cook it, I love to eat it, and, sometimes, I love to throw it. Trying new things is one of my favorite activities, and I consider myself far from a picky eater. Whenever I throw together something for myself, I tend to plate it elaborately, for no particular reason, and take pictures of it.
---Spatulas are sexy. =winks=
---In the time spent not doing school work and any of the above-listed activities, I enjoy collecting cows and postcards, knitting, sleeping, and finding out more things that I'm good and bad at. Some things I'm bad at include Frisbee, ping-pong, sitting still, pretty much any video game, and remembering to get the mail. I've discovered I'm good at hitting the snooze button, ordering people around while photographing them, making lists of things I'm not good at, and juggling scarves. However, if I try to juggle anything else, I fail miserably.
---My favorite holiday is Samhain, or Halloween. Most of all, I thoroughly enjoy scaring the s**t out of people when they come up our driveway in search of candy. Also, with Halloween comes candy corn, one of my top candy loves.
---I love my friends, and will do anything for them. If I call you a friend, I mean it, and chances are you did something awesome to draw my attention in the first place.
---Despite my occasional bitchy-ness, I am always ready to offer help and advice. I think of myself as easy to talk to, and even if we don’t know each other, I’m willing to listen if needed.

Voluntary Insanity

Well let's see.
After some highly turbulent life changes, I've reverted back to the way I believe I am supposed to be.
As usual women are the reason, but not to blame, for this turbulence.

I suppose that life, as a whole is very much growing into something I can probably live with.
It's just a very, very messy transformation.
