You mentioned you don't care about getting items in Switchem. Would you sell me the bolero if you get it? I love the recolors, but seem unlikely to win them, and I'd rather buy from you than a stranger.

OK, that's cool. The first 2 are quite easy now that they've dealt with most of the glitches and made the requirements much easier to fulfill. The last would take a while.

So, what's going on IRL? Anything new and interesting? yum_bacon

Just wondering if you'll be taking part in the summer event. You can get 3 achievements out of it, but it's only running thru July 3, so you'd need to start soon if you want all of them.

OK, thanks. I'm just doing lvl 1 orb aggregates and get one point for each one. I'm 6 points into lvl 2, so I'll need about 1400 orbs to get to 3.

Does the number of formulas we need to craft go up for each level? I'm at level 2 and it looks like I'll need to craft 20 at this level (for a total of 30) to reach level 3.

You might want to sign the petition linked in this thread. It's about Stage Fright. mrgreen

Hey, I hope everything is alright with you and your family and friends. I heard you got some serious weather there, is everything OK now?

Beats me. I don't know how anyone lives in Canada or the like. Perhaps he realized that if he lived here and couldn't be forced to take the meds he hates, he'd have nothing to b***h about. Whoops, there'd still be circumcision. mrgreen

I think my simple solution proved too much for him. He's decided that his body is unable to regulate its own temperature and thus the entire US is too hot for him, presumably even Alaska and other Canadian border states. cat_rolleyes

He's been behaving in an almost normal fashion although I'm not sure if he was trolling when he asked what asylum is. I really didn't mean for that to sound like a pun, i.e. that he leave the mental asylum there and try for (political) asylum here. Is he Canadian? The drug he claims to take is not approved in the US, but is there. Any idea why it's not allowed here? My posts replying to him have been quite straightforward and he hasn't argued all of them. I hope I made clear why cell phone use is not always permitted in hospitals; I've known why for many years since they pranked my sister-in-law's dad at the hospital after she had my nephew. He kept forgetting about the rule and making calls to tell his friends about his new grandchild, and my brother kept pointing out the signs saying they were banned, when finally a code alarm sounded just as he was starting to dial again. The family convinced him that he'd caused some guy to have a heart attack and he was quite upset. I think old cells might have been more of a hazard, people with pacemakers can even use cells nowadays, they are simply cautioned not to get them too close to their chests while in use.

I couldn't figure out why 2 posters there got upset at my using the term "abnormal" to describe brains that are not normal. I linked them to 4 different medical dictionaries confirming my proper use of the term. What am I missing? Did "abnormal" get put on the euphemism treadmill (like "retarded" wink and nobody e-mailed to tell me?

He's still going at it and that means I have to respond. Maybe I'll try confining my responses to .gif images. I did find the perfect one yesterday and was thrilled to have the occasion to use it in a topical manner. It's funny, this was one of the few threads where Stage Fright actually responded to my post. I see his buddy does not feel he is able to respond to your reasoned explanations. You explain things relating to the brain much better than I do, which means that your college money is being spent well. wink Please do correct any blatant errors I make, I believe I called psychiatry a science and you say it is a medical specialty, so whoops. Even if they are on at the same time, they could still be the same person using multiple browsers. Oh, speaking of browsers, Chrome has much less of a problem with the User Image glitch.

Well, that thread was fun. Mission accomplished. His crazy defender (and possible mule, imo) has resorted to name calling and anime tropes. I think it's derailed. cat_pirate

I doubt that anyone who reads his posts is surprised that his ex stabbed him. lol

He's even more of an idiot when he tries to discuss anything not drug related.

Did you see his comment to the OP about straightening him out with a whip? And then he has the nerve to call you out. I'll let him listen to that moron Kapland's advice so he keeps smoking out of a filthy pipe. (Isopropyl alcohol is perfectly safe to use to clean them.)

I think she deserves a refund for the pills and nothing more. Product liability extends only so far. David gave me an example. If a derailleur were to malfunction due to a manufacturing defect, say, it breaks off, gets caught in the wheel and causes the rider to crash, the company is liable for the price of the derailleur, nothing else.

Years ago a friend and I were flirting with a cute lifeguard from South Africa and I asked him what it was he thought was the worst thing about America. To my surprise, he said it was our litigiousness, that we seem to sue over everything and nothing. Ever since then I've looked for signs that he was right about us being sue-happy, and have concluded that he was.
