I'm done with my costume, except for the wings. Hope I get those today!

Quiet night at home... Just recooperating from the weekend, lol. I think I might attempt Word Bump while I watch a movie, hehe.

Yay! Working on my costume now!

I really liked the Easter Event! I've been sick for a week so it broke up the monotony of staying home and staring at the tv, lol. Plus it wasn't my Easter so, hey, I had no where to be even if I wasn't sick.

Anywho, I woke up early and came online, and it was great. I was finding eggs every five minutes. I got a few baskets, although as the day progressed it took longer and longer. Then my computer had problems, then my internet went down.. by the time I got back (and I had 4 eggs already collected), it was so slow here we kept getting errors. I never got another single egg, and I played on and off until midnight I think. Hey I was up coughing and sneezing, why not chat online lol. Anyway, of course in the afternoon and onward it was so bad... People were getting out of church and/or home from relative's houses... they were coming online now. It was an explosion!

I wish there was a little more story, because the way the NPCs talked during the event we all assumed there'd be some major blow-out. I feel bad because I thought something big would happen with the signs. I didn't realize Gambino was giving them away if you donated already (I had donated 1000 ^^ wink so I went and got mine. And then I thought oh if we have our signs, I bet as soon as the event is over something big is going to happen and those that have signs will feel the effect. So I convinced some friends to buy signs and I feel really bad now. ^^; Well especially too since I helped some of them out buying them and now I'm down 2000gold lol. But oh well, maybe something will come of it eventually. ^_^

Oh and for clothes, I changed my outfit. haha. I really liked my winter outfit (The blue/black fun in the snow combo), and then I kinda liked my red one (I got rid of all the blue stuff and replaced it with a red bathing suit, a red pair of shorts, and used three of this year's winter items)... but this one is ready for spring and then summer. I want sandals, too, but the sandals out there aren't exactly what I need so I'll have to wait a little while. And then maybe something in my hair, we'll see. But I love KikiKitty! heart

I just realized I haven't seen a movie in the theater since The Matrix RELOADED!! Not even the third one, the lousy second one! *gasp*

I need to see something, ASAP! >.<

OMG last night's episode of Lost rocked. I mean it wasn't the best episode ever, but... SAWYER + KISS = SEXAY! I turned into a squealing fangirl. I wanted to kill Kate. I wanted her place. I wanted that KISS!!

I had mistakenly heard Kate was gonna kiss Sayid. I would have loved to see that. he's sexay too. biggrin

Or then there's Sayid kissing Sawyer... how bout them apples? biggrin

Anyway, enough lost talk. So my computers are still wonky. My laptop is running *a little* better and *knock on wood* I appear to have gotten rid of all the spyware causing most of the trouble. But the mouse is still broken and the internet is running as slow as slow can be. I can't even get to ConScrew really anymore (I got into the forum for a sec after it kept logging me out O_o) and Gaia never comes up mostly now and its not even just from its own problems. Nothing is coming up. But now I'm getting it to work so far and yay. But the power troubles are still being a biatch.

I had a long day at school but it was great. I got there and it was only me and one other student. The other two were out and we got so much done and had fun doing it becaues it was just the two of us. Aside from our morning review and test (on Chemistry, the elements, chemical types, atomic structure, and so on), we had a whole day of pratical. I did a whole perm wrap, a 4-strand round braid, a 2-strand overlap + fishtail, and an upside down 2-strand overlap/fishtail. Tomorrow we do more of all this plus some foils and parrafin wraps. And then... SUPPOSEDLY... Lee is coming FINALLY.

I can't believe its been 4 months since I last saw him, and 6 months since I saw him on a regular basis. When I moved back here, we both thought he'd be moving within 2 months. *sigh* We'll see how it goes...

Oh well guess thats it for now. I'm uber tired. I woke up at 4am again today. I never knew Major Healy was in the army and not in the airforce too... so why was he always going on missions with Major Nelson? Are army people astronauts too? O_o And I could have sworn that Major Nelson got the riddle right about the box so he could marry Jeannie. I don't remember them not looking and then trying to behead him razz haha. Wings at 4-5 and Jeannie at 5. Yay for Nik at Nite + TV Land, although lately both suck with their lineups for the most part ;_; I miss F Troop. razz

EDIT: Oh and what I meant to say at first lol. If all goes well... I'm going to see Dave Chappelle the weekend after my bday!! WOOHOO! oh and also LJ keeps logging me out when I go to the site so yeah.. Thanks again for Semagic, oh great Semagic creators razz

There have been a lot of newbies lately who keep saying Gaia is so boring and why can't this happen and why can't that happen. It is really sad. I'll admit when I first came on, I didn't get what was going on. The way my friends talked about Gaia, I was expecting more of Fairyland. But then I looked around and I loved it. Its fun to chat, and then you get these neat rewards in the form of gold that you can use to dress up your avatar. I had a hard time at first cause I never had time to really play around and get gold. Then it happened where my plans fell through and I was sick so I got to play around a LOT on Halloween for the last two days of it. And I got enough stuff where I had extra items and could sell some and get gold. And that was great! But I'm not spending it. O_o I think I spent like 2000 gold so far and some of that was to help out others.

And now everything is down so I can't spend anyway. And that is the problem with a lot of these new Gaians right now. They're coming on during glitches, and not seeing anything done, and they're NOT READING ANY OF THE STICKIES OR THE OTHER THREADS AROUND, and then get mad. But it really ticks me off when people start going "I joined and its SO boring and this is why" and they rattle off reasons. And then you tell them about things, and ask why they are here then, and then they get all mad you even asked them that. Its like we're not supposed to get mad that you're putting down the thing we like to do just because YOU don't like it, but we ask you then if you don't like it why are you around and you get all huffy? GEEZ.

I used to play Neopets for all of 15 minutes. I liked it at first and then POOF. It got so screwy and I stopped. Same with Furcadia. And when I said i played Neopets for 15 minutes I obviously didn't mean 15 minutes just in case someone says "that wasn't enough time to see!" rofl. smile God I think I was hanging around Neopets when it first was starting up.. but yeah. Blah.

Does it bother anyone that Buffy's mom is doing the advil or whatever commercials? lol smile Its like I can't help but thinking she's buffy's mom, haha. Okay that was random. smile

I'm so bored. I'm sick today and all I can do is sit here and play on Gaia, lol. I wish I was a LITTLE better so I could at least sit at my desk and use my big computer to play The Sims 2.

I had more to say but ergh I forgot. ^^;

I was sick all weekend too so I stayed on for Halloween for a long time after I got out of work rofl. I didn't think I'd get to participate really at all in the festivities so Sunday and part of Monday I was able to get a lot of candy and items. I'm saving half of it for myself and selling the rest so I can get other items I want. I've been SO broke since I started Gaia, mostly because I never had time to play for like a month, lol, so yeah. Its nice now to have a bit of gold. =) Although now I don't feel like spending it ^^;

I had to turn off PMs to anyone but those on my friendslist, though. i've been getting a lot of spam lately. A lot of chain letters which I should have reported but was too lazy to do so. And then a lot of people begging for free items that I'm selling, or people I want to be generous to and just give away some items but they are kinda mean about it. I can't win. And then there's the people who keep sending me messages about wanting to buy the auction items without going through the auction, for prices they could get the auction for. I don't think its fair that I would stop it for someone like that, and also I don't think its right to be bothered with badly typed and/or rude messages. I especially hate the ones where people demand I give them things. O_o I mean, honestly. Demanding pixels of some random person? Whatever. stressed

I have to end up working this weekend so there goes another weekend I won't get to see my fiancee. crying Bah.

I got my first blue box! Yay!

Today was exhausting, but awesome. Everyone said I did SUCH a good job. Even my BOSS gave me a tip! woohoo!
